Wendy Lynch That's why carriages exist. Peaceful people can go in one carriage and people who want to be entertained in another with probably a few carriages in between (trains have atleast 2-3 carriages minimum). So that can be resolved.

This particular party train is returning from Aintree racecourse on Grand National day.... the passengers will have had a good few bevvies at the races ;)

I grew up in New York when everyone was so grim that no one made eye contact andbif you tried to say hello to someone you didn't know of the commuter train they would look at you funny as if you had some terrible intentions. I remember seeing people proceed, none the less, to strike up a conversation with someone else, who was allowing it very reluctantly, and I remember thinking "they surely must have be from California"! : )
