    Hi Nikita!
    Loved your content. I am planning to buy Macbook Air. But the problem is Tally/Busy doesn't work in that OS. We are a corrugated box manufacturer. Can you please suggest what should I do? Go for a windows laptop with Tally or Macbook with Zoho Books can work fine for me? We are not a very big manufacturing firm. And I want to maintain my books of accounts myself.
    Thank you.

      Hey! The option that I’ve found most convenient is having both Windows and MacOS on my MacBook Air. I generally navigate from one OS to another based on my need.
      If you’re a manufacturer I wouldn’t suggest Zoho Books because the software doesn’t pass Entires for issue of Raw Material and conversion of RM to FG etc. So that becomes difficult to manage. I’m still researching on a convenient cloud-based software for manufacturing. So you can choose any offline software that works for you.
      P.S. if you’re buying the laptop only for accounting then you should might as well buy Windows. The navigation will become cumbersome.

      @@CANikitaPunjabi I am not buying laptop only for accounting. I believe it’s a long term investment if I can use it for all purposes.
      Also, can you suggest me how do you operate Windows in MACOs. I’ve researched a bit and found that using Parallels (₹6000/annually) Windows can be operated.
      Also switching windows I believe would not be cumbersome apart from the the fact that the Windows would use a lot of RAM of Macbook.
      How about ERPNext? Is is all in one cloud accounting software?

      Yes that's correct.
      Windows doesn't necessarily use a lot of RAM. Although I'm not at all an expert there but in terms of end user review, both systems have been working fine.
      ERP Next is amazing! I'm still researching about its implementation. Yes, it's a cloud based software that offers end to end solution for manufacturing as well.

    can we import bills direct from gst 2a

    • @CANikitaPunjabi
      @CANikitaPunjabi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can reconcile 2B with books within Zoho, but no you can’t import transactions directly. However, you can use MS Excel to import all bills into Zoho Books. You can copy the bills from GSTR 2A and put them into Zoho’s import bills format to import all transactions at once.
