Will my comment stay after refreshing? Okay, since it does, I can say something. If not the 49ers, _this_ is the team I expect to take the NFC, not the Lions. Both HCs have problems in how they handle stress during games but Lafleur has gotten better at planning ahead.
I heard a Packers fan speculate that they think he's good at the white-board planning, not so much communicating with players. But look how smooth the offense became in the last half of last season? Meanwhile the Lions seem determined to tweak Every Last Aspect Of Individuality Out of players before allowing them to touch the ball. What _IS_ Dan Campbell talking about regarding Jamo for instance?
Jamo's highlights are insane. There's no excuse to not use him more yet Campbell is 'Becoming Pleased With His Progress.' _What_ progress? Throw him the _ball!_ Nothing _needs_ changing. So this is the stuff that makes me think the Lions are going to continue to self-destruct in important games, insisting on everything going Their Way to extent that they refuse to work with what they have.
