- A collection of funny moments I have come across since picking this game up again in the fall of 2019. In the year 2009 I had plans on making a lot of Driver 2 videos, only one was made however. Today, 13 years later I finally got around to it!
When picking this game back up in 2019 I hade no idea of the bigger names in the Driver community. Therefore, I have not been keeping track on where I found all of these cheatcodes. Because of that, I can not give any credit where credit is due unfortunately.

same! i never even played the game properly. i just tried to get my car to launch as high as possible. i'd pile a bunch of cars up against a wall, slam into it, and sometimes my car would launch straight upward like a half mile into the sky. SO funny. 😂

If your CD was a bit scratched the game will bug out like parts of the map wouldn't really render in the solid surface but visually it's rendered then you phase through the ground

@ 2:00 if you drive to this tracked section in free roam, on booth ends of the tracks there is a tunnel entrance with a locomotive blocking it. However, booth locos have glitched collision, one of them will stop your cars movement, but you can still speed up, (your wheels wil spin while not moving until the car is colliding with the train) while the other one instantly pushes your car away like i na car crash

cop difficulty broken is the police in survival mode?
@@gcdriverk From what I remember they kind of just stay in place or moves just slightly. Not really sure why I included that code since it has no purpose.
Survival is code number 2 in that case. Although survival use a few other codes like respawn time and some more I dont remember.

I played on PS1 when i was young but i dont remember so many bugs as on this video.. is there different versions of this?
The game has been altered using cheatcodes to do most of the things you see in the video. The one with the train in Vegas and chopper in Rio is from a pre-release of the game and in that version there is a lot of gamebreaking bugs. But as for the retail versions of the game I dont know of any version beeing more buggy than the other. Although... I have heard some stuff about the Spanish 1.0 version of the game having some differences but dont remember the details.

Is this running on a ps1 emulator? Because if you're playing on PC, I'd definitely recommend ReDriver2 which is a port to PC with a higher draw distance and significantly increased resolution (and 16:9 at that)
This is run on a ps1 emulator on an android emulator on windows 10 actually xP I am an active member on the ReDriver2 forums so yes I know about it, its amazing :P

I personally prefer to run the game in the emulator. Increasing drawing distance shows some unfinished buildings, and increasing resolution makes those small graphical glitches more ugly. XD

It's the in-game music. Most of which is made by Allister Brimble. On top of that I used the intro music, both the PAL and NTSC version. I dont know that there are any names for the songs. You should find them on youtube.

Gameshark and HEX code is what it really is. However I dont run this on actual hardware but instead use a program called ePSXe running on android.

It's a device you plug into the back of a ps1 to alter the code in the game.

The game is run by an emulator called ePsxe on windows 10 by compressing the gamefiles into an ISO-file. Using ePsxe I can input so called "sharkcodes" to alter the code in the game. This can also be done on actual 90's hardware but needs a gameshark adapter.
