My video is due tomorrow and I kind of haven't started yet,,, but here we go!! Years of writing essays last minute have prepared me for this moment. Wish me luck lol rip my sleep schedule not that I had one anyways Update: I didn’t get in, but I’m okay with that. I’m happy where I am now, and that’s what matters !!

I’m a principal player at my schools top orchestra (I’m a freshman, worked hard to get here and outplay the upperclassmen) and I also am in a pretty prestigious conservatory (but not principal violin). There really aren’t any good viola players especially at my conservatory, there’s like a shortage haha. Maybe I should learn viola? I would be able to get first chair easily which is nice for leadership. Do you think it would be worth it? At our school, viola rentals are only $40’s per year (our school has a great music program!)

How old are you? I am 18 and I am a first year student un my own country But whenever I see brown portfolio vds on youtub, I feel like Oh Guys you are so many talents
FUCK! I’M LACKING 😭 I really want to go to brown but the clock is ticking fast (I’m a sophomore rn) and I’ve done jack shit. Literally one extracurricular, no honors, no impressive feats or anything. My grades are good but no one cares, that’s just the entry bar. I’m a software guy like (I think) you are toemas and I have nothing to show for it. All I’ve made are poorly-built and unfinished web apps with a multitude of front end frameworks that I don’t understand. I think I didn’t understand that normal people don’t go to to the Ivy League. I’m starting to grasp that they’re going to throw your app out if you’re clearly not a superior human being.
In what capacity is AI used to solve a traveling salesman? Or other constraint satisfaction problem? Maybe there was some way a DNN was used but sometimes I am afraid people slap that term onto every algorithm, instead of its formal definition
