Hi, nice video. There have been several studies trying to establish what running shoes reduce injuries and nothing seems to work. Some shoes work for some runners but not for others. Even the move to maximally cushioned shoes is not eliminating injuries, the injuries are just occurring in a different place. The safest course of action is to regularly stress your body in different ways, never too much of one thing. And of course, a slow build-up of mileage. I alternate between cushioned carbon plated shoes, minimal shoes, hard shoes, low drop, higher drop, road running and trail running.
@@AndreasCSL thanks for watching and sharing this comment! I totally agree it’s important to mix up the types of workouts to reduce injury. For me, I noticed a positive difference when I started running in these shoes. My last pair was cute and made for trail running, but my feet were not feeling great following my runs. I’ve found that this custom sole gives me the support I need at present. Have you ever tried a custom sole ? If yes, what was that like?
