I am a Tamilian and I know Hindi better than most of Hindi speaking people, but lets not take Pride or "Gamand" in telling people that they are wrong. No Marathi people do not pronounce ळ as ल. Marathi people do pronounce कमळ and not कमल. We pronounce लोकमान्य टिळक and not लोकमान्य तिलक. But I must say though our मराठी language is having ळ we don't have pronounciation for zh

Sandeep bhai once again proving how real South Indian movies fans (the ones who have been watching these movies in original language before the "Pan Indian Cinema" nonsense) feel about the shit dubbing of dialogues, the randomness of voice artists for lead hero in different films. Apart from that, it's very annoying that, these post "Baahubali" South Indian cinema fans, after watching the toned down dubbing of any random South Indian movie, start lecturing as if they are experts and as if every South movie is a masterpiece. While the genuinely good movies from South industries go unnoticed by them. The movies that are getting praised are good, no doubt, but sometimes another good movie exists starring the same lead or coming from same industry during same time, which goes unnoticed and doesn't get it's share of applause. e.g. Vijay Sethupathi : Vikram, Maharaja, Master - all are good. But there was Merry Christmas, Super Deluxe, 96 which at their time of release got no recognition although being good movies. And it's not that only mass movies reach a greater audience. Movies like "96" also gets chance to reach a bigger audience (which happened with "Hi Nanna" btw). But the shit dubbing of 96, lack of PR ruined the reach of the movie. It is only after years in the reels Era it got it's due. Similar is the case of "Meiyazhagan". Most people must have known Karthi from "Kaithi". However he has done movies like "Theeran", "Sardar", "Oopiri", which may not be known to these new-born post Pan India movie fans (although Sardar was a mass movie). Some must not have recognised him even in "PS" series.

Bro even Tamizhans call themselves Tamilans now. They say "vaala palam" for vaazha pazham" and all. Even they are going with the simple wordings. Only Malayalis use the correct pronunciation for "Zha". But it's ok if you mess it up. It's like a prestige issue not to mess up "zha" among Malayalis. But this isn't applicable for Northerners. We know that this letter is not popular in Northern states and we have no issue if you pronounce it differently. I mean every language has their own thing. Yes I do see some mallus trying to flex their "zha" skills in the comments of Northerners or foreigners attempting Malayalam movie titles. Just ignore those baffoons and just watch and enjoy the movie. Vaaza vaasa vaala whatever it is, the most important thing is wheather you enjoy the movie or not. But what you said is correct for dubbing artists and all. They should atleast try to match the wordings with "la". So at the end of the day...if you can pronounce "zha" correctly, then kudos! But it's ok if you don't too. No one has the right to tell someone else to learn their language just to watch a movie or read a title.
this zha word is a Marathi word as well. Maharashtra is not in north india but its language is Indo Aryan with some Dravidian influence to it. Zha word is heavily used in marathi language although we write it is La ळ.

3.45 what you pronounced for vazha is wrong. The same word is pronounced in many parts of Tamilnadu as you did. But in Kerala pronunciation is different.

The way you are pronouncing ZHA sound is also incorrect. It is not like the Marathi ळ The actual sound exists only in Tamil and Malayalam. Try to say LA but keep your tongue up without touching the top of the mouth or the gums. Then you get the correct ZHA sound...😃 There are TH-cam videos to help you.

For Malayalam, zha is perfectly used.
For Tamil, zha is also used perfectly but certain slangs use it as La.

मैं इस विषय को लेकर चिंतित रहता हूं कि भारत देश में आधुनिक युग मे हम एक भी ढंग कि हॉरर फिल्म नहीं बना पाए फिर चाहे बॉलीवुड हो या दक्षिण भारतीय फिल्म्स ,उन फ़िल्मों से लाख गुना बढ़िया बचपन मे जो नाटक आते थे जेसे आप बीती ,आहट ,फिर कोई है आदि ज्यादा डरावने होते थे मगर फ़िल्मों की बात की जाए हमेशा से ही निराश किया है और कोई इस विषय मे बात भी नहीं करना चाहता क्योकि यहाँ सिनेमा का अर्थ केवल मनोरंजन हैं

Bro even Tamizhans call themselves Tamilans now. They say "vaala palam" for vaazha pazham" and all. Even they are going with the simple wordings.
Only Malayalis use the correct pronunciation for "Zha". But it's ok if you mess it up. It's like a prestige issue not to mess up "zha" among Malayalis. But this isn't applicable for Northerners.
We know that this letter is not popular in Northern states and we have no issue if you pronounce it differently. I mean every language has their own thing.
Yes I do see some mallus trying to flex their "zha" skills in the comments of Northerners or foreigners attempting Malayalam movie titles. Just ignore those baffoons and just watch and enjoy the movie.

But what you said is correct for dubbing artists and all. They should atleast try to match the wordings with "la".
So at the end of the day...if you can pronounce "zha" correctly, then kudos! But it's ok if you don't too. No one has the right to tell someone else to learn their language just to watch a movie or read a title.

this zha word is a Marathi word as well. Maharashtra is not in north india but its language is Indo Aryan with some Dravidian influence to it. Zha word is heavily used in marathi language although we write it is La ळ.

3.45 what you pronounced for vazha is wrong. The same word is pronounced in many parts of Tamilnadu as you did. But in Kerala pronunciation is different.

The actual sound exists only in Tamil and Malayalam. Try to say LA but keep your tongue up without touching the top of the mouth or the gums. Then you get the correct ZHA sound...😃
