US Pacific Northwest with light snow: French Defense. Also Italica, Symphonium, and Vanitas (Profumum Roma) 🥰
I suffer through Texas summers which last up to 9 months 🙄 so I absolutely appreciate this content, thank you!
Hey Cherie, this is a relevant list for me since I live in Arizona and frankly it’s warm to downright hot 🔥75% of the year. I’ve also been dealing with headaches since August and it’s no fun. I hope they ease up for you soon 😉
Enjoyed listening to this and daydreaming about hot summer from the north of the northern hemisphere.
I splurged on Celine Black Tie this Christmas and have been wearing it every day. I’m sure some people think it’s basic, but it’s just the perfect powdery vanilla orris for me. Love the Celine line. Of the day wear fragrances, I think my favorite might be Cologne Francaise. Looking forward to using that sample when it gets warmer here.
Any thoughts on zouzou?
@@GinaAngels So far I really like Zouzou, but I've been leaning on Black Tie so much that I haven't really worn my sample of Zouzou all that much. I'm not sure if it's something I would wear in warmer temps, but it seems like a nice option for Autumn and Winter. A bit sticky sweet from the benzoin, tonka, and vanilla, but not cloying.
@ I actually have smelt them both and have samples as well but the zouzou was not a spray sample. Think I will by full bottle of black tie , but my heart says Dans Paris… just think not all season scent
Lovely video, Cherie💞!
Eau de Cologne was actually the first fragrance I picked up from the Les Exclusifs collection, and I absolutely adore it-it’s so refreshing! In the USA, it’s already priced the same as the rest of the Exclusifs line.
With the current Pacific Northwest weather, my rotation is all about those warm, cozy amber, vanilla, and oud base notes.
Have an amazing time on your ski trip, and enjoy Milan!💖
You are so beautiful, I need to know what your skincare routine is? Clearly you never go in the sun without spf. Your skin looks flawless. What makeup, foundation are you wearing? And please don't say nothing or I'm going to cry lol ❤
Love all your perfume suggestions.
lol I wish I had nothing in! I have been testing the skin tint by Hourglass. I only have a sample of it though and on the top I had some of the Chanel sublimage cream foundation. Just a tiny bit but it definitely made a difference. This camera does smooth my skin though, even with the filters turned off so, no my skin does not look like this!
I do slather on sunscreen daily, too. X
@@TheTopNote Agree! Your skin looks amazing and I want to know what you use for skincare!
@you will be surprised, it’s actually a very basic routine but I was thinking of doing a video so I promise I will do one soon! I just wasn’t sure if people would be interested.
Great video dear! Really hoping to catch up with you in Milan
So interesting, the psychology behind our purchases and wear of fragrance. I’m the opposite with my expensive perfumes … I want to wear them a lot to prove to myself that it was a good purchase! 😂
I hope you have a lovely trip. I’m wearing a lot of Encens Suave by MP in these cold days! ✨
Hi from Europe! In the snow I’m wearing encense suave but it’s so strong than when the temperature hits above 0 C I leave it on the shelf 😅. My recent obsession is rose supercritique from Les eaux primordiales - excellent rose + incense+ amber. Really like it
I totally understand about just not even wanting to worry about perfumes when it's super hot and muggy 🥵. I'm in the US, so we've been getting some cold, but actually I still wear a lot of hot weather stuff, since I like them for the gym (yay, get it at the gym!). One of my favorites is actually Frangipani by Ormande Jayne. I've been meaning to check out Champaca 😫.
When you go in your trip (yay!) bring your heavy hitters! Love the cold for that. I wore Chergui for the first time in a LOOOONG time, and it was awesome. Today I wore my Tobac Rose by BDK, and I love it ❤. Love me some cold weather scents 😍
I agree with you on the size, I actually prefer 30ml or less, especially if it is a strong fragrance that doesn't require a lot of sprays.
Hi Cherie, happy new year! Great to see you again. Look forward to hearinng about your summer fragrances. I’ve been going through the Amouage samples and unfortunately, I love them all! 🙈 I’ve tried so far, honour 45, epic, lyric, guidance, overture, beloved, memoir, love tuberose, love delight, sunshine! I’m in trouble! 🙈
Hi Cherie, this heat has been unreal 🤬 and I feel you on the headache front 🤕 Thankfully it’s slightly (slightly 😏) cooler for the weekend. I’ve been loving Diptique Eau des Sens in the heat and it actually seems to last me through the work day. I’ve got the body lotion too. I hope your work and headaches ease up for you soon! 😊❤
We had snow a couple days ago, which is unusual for the southern U.S.! Spring will be here before you know it so it will be time to think about fragrances like these. Thanks, Cherie!
Great video Cherie - been hot and windy here in Sydney, which I like. I am one of the odd few who like hot and humid weather. I have been wearing lighter perfumes as well particularly Nosy Bee Ylang Ylang, Jo Malone Grapefruit and Chanel Edimbourg. The Chanel is particulary good for me in summer as I like green perfumes but some of them don't cope with the warm weather.😊
Hi Cherie,
Great hot-weather list! I tend to wear things on repeat in high heat or frigid cold. Just returned from a three week trip to frigid Paris and London. I mostly wore Angelique Noir, Comete Paradis, and Delphinius. But I also sampled Orpheon which I loved and one evening I wore Feminin pluriel and it did very well in the bitter cold. Another cold-weather love lately is Patchouli Paris. And the Tonka extrait is amazing. Didn’t buy it but the sample spritz was long/lasting!
Have a wonderful trip!
Milan is humid cold - read the cold gets into every bit of your body! Pack some hooded coat/down jacket so you can protect your neck or head as needed. It’s really the worst time of the year for Esxence 😢 for the mountains you will need warm snow gear if you ski ⛷ but if not just a good down jacket and some cachemire sweater or similarly warm will do the trick. Shoes need to be goretex with good anti slip sole. Perfumes? Pack light to fill your luggages with new ones 😅
In this hot days I like to wear Chanel n. 19 Edt or Poudree. Also Carnal Flower, and Hypnose by Lancome which I'm trying to finish.
Great selections. I preach Chanel's Eau de Cologne to as many people as possible. It's that good.
Enjoy Milan~
It really is!
I am in Colorado, and we just had a week of freezing temps. I picked up a bottle of Shalimar Millesimé Tonka on Mercari and haven’t been able to stop wearing it!
Sorry to hear about the headaches lovely Cherie. Best wishes to you from Minnesota.
Hi Cherie 👋 Happy New Year! ❤️🌹✨️ Don't work too hard, and glad you're going on holiday soon!! One of my New Years Resolutions is to work less and holiday more, Yes!! 😂🙌🥳 Lots of Love Fi xx ❤️🥝👋
Champaca ❤❤❤
Hi Cherie, sorry it is uncomfortably humid and hot where you live. We are late to low temperatures out in British Columbia Can. Its been a strange winter for us. I forgot about guerlains neroli Vetiver! I tried my mini just now and really like it. At first when I recieved it a couple years ago, I had not enjoyed it fully, I especially did not enjoy the forte version. I guess I had written it off. Glad you brought it up so I can rediscover it. Lately I've been enjoying rose 1845, black jade, No 22, Oliban and Shalimar millesime iris to name a few. now that it is a little colder (- 3) I can enjoy some heavier fragrances Le lion❤ Have a wonderful trip! Looking forward to your next video☺
The snow is just melting where I'm at 😩
It's supposed to snow again tonight and tomorrow where I am.
It's a feels like temp of 1°C here with the wind, Cherie, but I always wanna hear about freshies, so thank you! My two faves are MFK Petit Matin and Olfactive Studio Dancing Light (works amazingly in the cold too because of the snowy / Northern Lights inspo)
Have you tried Neroli Vetiver Harvest?
Loved this video, you work too hard Cherie!!! Your motivation to go to the gym whilst working such long days is so admirable but you definitely deserve a break. I considered Milan this year but the pull of warmer weather is taking me and the BF to Egypt instead. My favourite neroli is TF Neroli Portofino Aqua, I think because the slightly sweet fluffy musky dry down counters the bitterness. Need to try the Perris one now though out of curiosity, Parade sounds good too. ❤
Oh yes I remember your love affair with that one! It’s swings and roundabouts at work, I know there will be a lull coming when it’s a bit more chill so I don’t mind so much. Just have to make sure I’m eating right and getting as much sleep as I can. Enjoy your sunny holiday in Egypt, I’ve always wanted to go! Xx
I am addicted to Celine perfumes and have 4. I don’t regret buying any of them… but I use them.. a lot😜😜
Yeah I need to just get over the mental hurdle of using the nice things!
Hello fellow youtuber.
I love Barenia.
Celine has the most beautiful bottles.
❤❤❤❤
Omg I love Eau de Cologne by Chanel. So pretty
Hello from Canada. SOTD: Chocolate Earth, by Untamed Perfumes. Just finished my 5 ml bottle of Serge Lutens' L'Orpheline, which is so winter in Canada. BTW, last summer when it was insufferably hot (37º C+), I wore Versace Versense. It's a cheapie but an almost bitter citrus. It was the only fragrance I could stand in the heat.
Anything with an herbal mint always seems to cool me down in the heat. Ideally combined with some sort of sharp citrus and white musk. 👌 Lovely to see you again Cherie! Any chance at a mini vlog at Esxence? 😉😁
Same! What is your favorite herbal mint perfume? ❤
@@amosuniaXerjoff Torino 21❤
@@sweetpeace5 Thank you! Fragrantica rated it very masculine. Do you think that’s accurate?
@@amosunia Tough one. I probably wear Molinard's The Basilic the most, but that one is more of a tea scent, so it's somewhere between the '93 formulation of Green Water and Herbes Troublantes atm. 🌿
@@justaddlight I love tea scents! Will sample this one. Thank you!
Tanta parte escrita em português porém ela fala inglês 😮devia ser dublado então 😮
Have you tried/reviewed Dyptique eau de sens??❤❤❤❤ its like an even more beautiful complex 4711
It's very opposite here 🥶 don't think I'd manage the heat tho.
The Hermes was definitely an interesting ones. Not sure still
Who are these perfect people? 😅 Definetly never me.
I've heard rumours of people who like neroli 😜 no that one sounds pleasant. The Guerlain too, maybe with the vetiver I could enjoy.
Enjoy Milan 😊
That’s interesting. I think that Eau de Cologne has always been the same outrageous price as the other Les Exclusifs in USD…at least it has for quite a while!
We must be a bit behind the times here in Oz 😂
Parade leaned very masculine on me
🌹
hey, happy 2025,
Are you familiar with Memo Sintra? If so, how do Parade and Sintra compare to one another? Thanks for the video! I love neroli too. 🩷
