My Tajima is broken again. Come to find out that this belt was long overdue. Let’s try to change this and see if this fixes it

How does one know that there belt is loose? is there a general deflection rule? We are having trouble having a hat embrd straight , someone suggested that sounds like the belt is out of spec. Anyone familiar with this?

I would definitely check the belt. There should be a very minimal play
