Did the code immediately go away or did you have to drive it for a while ? I just replaced mine and the check engine is still on .
It will stay until you clear it ,or you can unplug the battery for a few minutes
Brought mine to the dealership to fix P0455 engine code, after 2 days engine light came back with the same code. What went wrong?
Check your gas cap,it might not be sealing properly

Im getting code P0442 small evaporate leak. Took it 2 shop saying 450 to replace canister. My question is which value do i purchase so i can only pay for labor
Usually the purge valve wouldn't set a p0442, do you have other code?
Question! If I did this & cleared the code & for some reason it ended up being the canister for instance, would the check engine light come back on? Only reason I ask, is according to the p0496 code it could the the canister of the purge valve. Normally it’s 3 key cycles to trigger an engine light, right? I just want to address the least expensive option of course!
The least expensive option is the purge valve,i've never replaced the cannister for the m that code, alslways the purge valve
Also, use the OEM AC Delco brand. I learned that using aftermarket for this part will cause the code to come back.
I got the po442 code on mine, replaced the purge valve but the CEL is still on. What should I do next? I’ve seen some videos that say you need to drive it around a few times and shut the vehicle off so the light goes away

There had a recall on some traverse to replace the fuel pump , did you receive any letter about?what's wrong with the fuel pressure sensor, there are not known for that? What's the symptom
@@steevegmtech7326 2 weeks ago I got code p0442 shop did a smoke test on my 2018 chevy traverse n said it was canister purge valve, I replaced it n check engine light went off, 8 days later it comes bk on. I take it 2 auto zone to scan and I got code p0455 n was told my fuel tank pressure sensor need 2 be replaced. Today I noticed when I put the vehicle into drive to take off it took a min 2 accelerate. My question what else will give the code p0445. My traverse do not have a gas cap
P0455 usually mean indicates a small leak in the evap system, they would have to smoke test the system to find the leak
Does the check engine light have to be cleared after repair?
Yes or just unplug your battery,and plug it back in, you should be fine
