Just picked up a 1JZ-GTE Soarer project to sit between my Celica Turbo and my MR2 Turbo. I finally have all three pieces to my dream garage!
I always love the 3S content. Maybe one day I’ll see my spare engine on your table.

What pistons are you using on the 5sgte ....can stock 5s pistons work?
We only use Traum pistons, never used stock 5S pistons!!

What’s the benefit of using the 3S crankshaft in the 5S block? Would a BC 3S Stroker crank be better? Thanks!
Simplicity of the build. You can use a BC stroker setup if you like, that's just some peoples preference.
