It is so interesting to hear you describe the locations and what things became and then again how they ended up later because some are so familiar from childhood but I need the prompts to really get oriented.
Oh, the memories of days long gone. Wonderfully narrated, professional slide show that brought back floods of feelings. I may have to break out my old Kodak carousel and countless rotary trays. As Bob Hope once said, "Thanks for the Memories" Five stars !!! ✴✴✴✴✴
Interesting, informative and entertaining. We just relocated to Westfield from out of state and to see the history you presented is ideal for us. Thank you.
Came to westfield at age 10 in 1953. Westfield had Roosevelt Jr high on the north side of crown and the new Edison Jr high on the south side of town. Westfield Senior High was built on the south side of town. I graduated from it in 1961. In 1953, there were NO public grade schools in DOWNTOWN Westfield. I watched the new library being building being built. The new police station was also housed within the same beautiful building. Westfield's current "middle" schools were called "Junior high" schools. I loved in westfield from 1953 until 1968. Last visit to my home town was in 1994, when my dad died. Several "facts" in this video are not reliable.
