Oh man these nerfs hurt,messiah is one of my favorite decks from g Era. I understand the fear of lock in zero but didn't they give every clan access to a unlocker stride.
I think Link Joker era from the card game was so traumatizing that BSR is really scared to let that repeat. Not letting a player play the game turned off a lot of people locally, for sure.

I have a lot of materials for Link Joker. I can craft most of the cards needed, but the issues are the Big Crunch and Amnesty. But I am looking forward to Diablo. Just gotta think of what cards to priority craft.
I don't think the nerfs are that bad, so I hope they don't scare ppl away from the deck. If they hadn't nerfed it then the deck would've been completely broken, probably. Like most of the time you're locking both interceptes anyway, and very cheaply so. I also don't know if playing 4 x big crunch is super necessary? The fighters collection stride is also really good for dealing with Gurguit and other situations that need the raw power. But I guess it's a matter of preference. I also run Infinite zero over cbd but again that's a preference I think. I've been playing the deck for like 2+ hours every day since day one and my feelings on it is that it's strong but somewhat inconsistent. Like you say, very piece reliant and prone to bricking, but very good resource management and very fun to play. It has a learning curve though, definitely. First day I had no clue what I was doing, and I played Messiah in G lmao Also I think the deck performs noticeably worse now than it did like 2 weeks ago because people in ranked have learned to play around it lmao.
@@mister0725 it is nerfed but within the context of zero it would've been too strong if they'd left it. Plus no one enjoys playing against control decks where you can't even do anything and enjoyment is a part of the game, too. The main phase lock actually forces the LJ player to think carefully about what to lock using what skills (cards with ACT skills for example would be good targets even for the mp only lock) instead of mindlessly locking whatever. I've played it exclusively since it came out and I've been pending in and out of top 100 current season without too much effort. It's not an op super consistent top tier deck like Narukami or Kagero but that doesn't mean it's bad or can't be played competitively.

The best about Messiah are the skill animations, which are much beter graphically than other LJ decks like Star-Vaders and Deletors

It is nerfed alot and as you can see, it doesn’t do much without the 2 g2
