In the midst of the pain, we are thankful it was shown to you both that it wasn't meant to be, before walking into that everlasting bond of marriage; we are also grateful that one or both of you had the bravery to accept such revelation and respond accordingly, that bravery is one that is rarely shown. Me too, and at the time, Niomi your videos were one of the things that helped me get through. Sending you so much love - I know there will be good days and bad days but here are some things that helped me and hopefully some of them might help you too..... 1. Leaning into the bad days and not bottling it up, however tempting that may be (talk it out, cry it out, your soul needs to go through those days to come out the other end) 2. Not feeling guilty for having happy days ☺️ 3. Always have a friend/your mum on speed dial. During a bad day / when you’re in a rut it can be so tempting to just spiral down alone. In those moments, have a low threshold for calling someone. My best friend would come and stay the night with me, even when I didn’t think I needed it but it ALWAYS helped! 4. Journaling! Both gratitude journaling and daily journaling helped me more than I could imagine. I look back on it now and it is mad to think how far you have come, even from just a few weeks ago. So glad to see it’s already helping you too, there’s something cathartic about getting it all out! 5. Having a happiness SOS box (filled with your favourite tea, face mask, candles, fluffy socks, a happiness SOS music playlist, chocolates, nail varnish etc - it’s the little things but it’s lovely to have this to go-to for those moments you need a quick turnaround) 6. A new hobby and routine; when my relationship ended was when I started daily morning yoga (inspired by your videos) which helped so much 7. Making plans with lots of friends and family and keeping as busy as possible! 8. A change of scenery. My relationship ended at the same time as a big move for me to a new city / new job. That change of scenery was an amazing fresh start and blank canvas - it felt like a breath of fresh air and helped me so much. I know it will take time and it might not feel like it at all times but I promise it will get better, you WILL come out of this and time is an amazing healer. You have so much love around you 💜💜 Thank you so much for sharing it in such a real way, I just know it will help so many like me to come on this journey with you.

I lost my Mom to cancer a few years ago. I cannot tell you how amazing it is to see you appreciate your Mom. I just have to say that over the past few years of watching TH-cam I have seen quite a few women on TH-cam go through breakups, and after that truly blossom and live their life to the fullest. We start to wonder how it is that we can build our lives and make things work when we can't even expect the things that seem strong and predictable to work out. But I think you have the right mindset. Life will do what it will do, and it's our own foundation within ourselves that will carry us. Now I’m married with a son and 2 more babies on the way in the winter and I’ve never been happier and everything makes sense now. In my mid 20s i went through a break up after 6 yrs with someone. I then started to live my life as I had dreamed and travelled and had time for hobbies and a new home. You can turn it around girl, you will be okay 🧡
Me too, and at the time, Niomi your videos were one of the things that helped me get through.
Sending you so much love - I know there will be good days and bad days but here are some things that helped me and hopefully some of them might help you too.....
1. Leaning into the bad days and not bottling it up, however tempting that may be (talk it out, cry it out, your soul needs to go through those days to come out the other end)
2. Not feeling guilty for having happy days ☺️
3. Always have a friend/your mum on speed dial. During a bad day / when you’re in a rut it can be so tempting to just spiral down alone. In those moments, have a low threshold for calling someone. My best friend would come and stay the night with me, even when I didn’t think I needed it but it ALWAYS helped!
4. Journaling! Both gratitude journaling and daily journaling helped me more than I could imagine. I look back on it now and it is mad to think how far you have come, even from just a few weeks ago. So glad to see it’s already helping you too, there’s something cathartic about getting it all out!
5. Having a happiness SOS box (filled with your favourite tea, face mask, candles, fluffy socks, a happiness SOS music playlist, chocolates, nail varnish etc - it’s the little things but it’s lovely to have this to go-to for those moments you need a quick turnaround)
6. A new hobby and routine; when my relationship ended was when I started daily morning yoga (inspired by your videos) which helped so much
7. Making plans with lots of friends and family and keeping as busy as possible!
8. A change of scenery. My relationship ended at the same time as a big move for me to a new city / new job. That change of scenery was an amazing fresh start and blank canvas - it felt like a breath of fresh air and helped me so much.
I know it will take time and it might not feel like it at all times but I promise it will get better, you WILL come out of this and time is an amazing healer. You have so much love around you 💜💜

I think we all had a feeling this might be at least part of what was going on, and I totally respect you holding off and focusing on you before making this sort of thing public knowledge. It's heartbreaking when even the things that were solid and good don't work out or turn out to be permanent, whether that's a relationship or a job or a home or anything else. We start to wonder how it is that we can build our lives and make things work when we can't even expect the things that seem strong and predictable to work out. But I think you have the right mindset. Life will do what it will do, and it's our own foundation within ourselves that will carry us. Eventually, something on our path will last- but if we invest in ourselves and open ourselves up to the world, we'll have everything we need to make that journey!
