Honestly this song will be unliked because it’s slow but I really like this song. Flows so well. Both Delaney and Brian voices go so well together and this song was produced so well. This could definitely be on the pop radio station. Fantastic song in my opinion. And my favorite is Bow Down off the album
Hydro Drop Let’s be real, the whole album is way too poppy overall, I’m conflicted because it’s cool to see bands try different sounds but at the same time I loved the old I Prevail
@@robmueller8825 in what world is this considered pop? I’d love to know so I can go there and listen to “pop”. Just cause something dosent have a breakdown or a blegh don’t make it pop😂
Love this song. It's a ballad done right. It may be "safe" or whatever but that doesn't mean it's not well written and well composed. Love Delaney's voice. I drove to Chicago with my wife jamming to this in the car and it's one of those tracks that bring me back to that moment together.
It only gets hate from people like Wyatt who just wanna hear a breakdown or a blast beat in the intro😂 dude didn’t even listen to this album, just shit on it
Have you guys seen the video for hurricane? Because of what was said on the video itself makes me want the show in May to come faster. Been a fan of I Prevail since they’re cover of blank space. I’ve loved everything they’ve put out and can’t wait for future albums
We just drove from Louisiana back home to Oklahoma and jammed this album like three times 😅 it’s different for them but for me it was a good mix of different and what they normally do. I also agree with you saying Brian’s voice being stronger. Overall I love the album. And I’m stocked to see them live in a few weeks.
Love the reactions my guy. Makes me want to start a channel myself, but I wouldn't be as entertaining as you guys lol. Hopefully you react to some more albums throughout the year 🤘🤘
Ima big fan rap music, but I just switched to listening more to rock, metal and all these kind of genres and believe me this is one of my favorite albums what I like the most about it is the music and of course the CONTENT, I mean the whole album is about adressing the mental health issues and battling demons, and they did it in such a great way musically, sonically 🔥
I really like this song while i came when hearing bowdown and gasoline i really enjoyed the 'my heart i surrender' feel and also thought it sounds alot like heavy by linkin park
This song is banger in my eyes. I am in the military and being away from loved ones it hits hard. The music video you need to watch it because it brings everything together.
Im into this song, i feel the album as a while is a bit weak i wish it was heaver but i like the fact that they have super heavy songs and then they calm it down for a bit
I grew up being in chorus so I really dug it. I love song with duets such as "The Promise" by In This Moment, "Take Me With You" by Prince and The Revolution, and of course "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence" and "Broken" by Seether sooooo 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

i honestly don't like rock music which may be why i like this song, but it's one of very few songs that brings tears to my eyes, anything that invokes that type of emotion will always be praised by me, this songs special man
I don't mind pausing (sometimes), but it's not about people wanting to hear the song really, they want you to hear it without pauses because in some cases, pausing eliminates some sort of context, and you lose the feel of buildup and connectivity. I've seen so many people lose half or sometimes full context, just because of pausing (same thing for talking while the song/video is playing). So a good way around that is to pause and run it back a few seconds to make sure it all connects when you go back and continue listening.
I think the reason you guys don't like the song is bc you can relate to it this album hits the spot for people who are going through things like depression and relationship problems I don't know you guys but this album is great
Once the music video was released for this song....it changed it. Big time. Amazing song and for me it hits home because I have to leave my wife and kids for extended periods of time as a truck driver.
I couldn't agree more! The music along with the video definitely brought out the meaning of the song very vividly!! Was hoping others had made this comment!!
In the genres of Metal I listen to there's no pitch correction/shifting. Can't exactly agree with there's always a little bit of tuning for pitch drift.
Her voice sounds familiar to Hailee Steinfeld, I think that’s who you may be thinking of bc I think the artist on this track is still pretty low on the radar & upcoming. Never heard of any songs by her.
I think it’s more of we want YOU to capture everything and enjoy the music, that’s the way I see it anyway, I know it’s late and I’ve heard the record numerous times but yeah...
I could completely off-base, but I got a Skillet vibe between Brian and Delaney. I don't know who the female singer is, but that's what I instantly thought of. It is generic and safe. I'm still not sure if I will full-out buy this album or not. I bought Bow Down, with high expectations for a heavier album.
MandaPanda Omg, I saw the new music video for this!!! I CRIED during the entire video! I can’t believe my original comment was from last year, but this whole album has grown on me.
I can see this reaction without the video but I can only imagine the reactions if the same things were said if you reacted this way to the music video. The video changes everything.
How can people even say its pop?! LOL.. its by far one of the better tracks they´ve produced (in my opinion). It is a rock/pop rock song. Still going under the genre of ROCK.. not Heavy rock or hard rock, just the rock genre.
Youre opinion is awesome. Good song for sure. But youre a particular musician. When people come to watch youre reaction.. they should understand youre built for true metal. Lol
I like the song, but I fully admit that it's generic and boring and safe and done-to-damn-death. Still a decent song, much in the same way that many action movies are just re-packaged plots but can still be decent movies. I'm not a huge fan of the album, but there are tracks on it that I really like. What I really like, though, is that the band are doing what they want to do, and not what everyone thinks they should be doing. As young as they are, to find their own voice at this stage, that puts them miles ahead of many other bands. I'd say this album is a win overall. We don't all have to like everything that everyone does in order to see the progression in a positive way.
"This song really isn't doing it for me" **nodding head trying not to sing along to that catchy ass chorus**

Brad Miller I mean I’d much rather have a metalcore album don’t get me wrong
@@robmueller8825 I kinda disagree, I think the album had a good mix. I loved it. But that's just me.
The song is currently #3 on the Billboard Hard Rock Song chart. It's been on that chart for 20 weeks I think it said!
@@robmueller8825 in what world is this considered pop? I’d love to know so I can go there and listen to “pop”. Just cause something dosent have a breakdown or a blegh don’t make it pop😂
Written and performed for their loved ones. They dedicate it to their wives and girlfriends at their shows. Super meaningful song for me.
This song reminds me a lot of "Heavy" from Linkin Park feat. Kiiara.
This song is sharing feelings..I love bands that express themselves..I connect strongly to that type
Love this song. It's a ballad done right. It may be "safe" or whatever but that doesn't mean it's not well written and well composed. Love Delaney's voice. I drove to Chicago with my wife jamming to this in the car and it's one of those tracks that bring me back to that moment together.
Delaney Jane is HUGE in the EDM scene. She is talented, and for this "Mainstream" track, she did really well.
Totally in love with this song! Plays it on repeat all the time! To each their own! I love everything from iprevail!!
I absolutely loved this song. Don’t know why it gets hate.
It only gets hate from people like Wyatt who just wanna hear a breakdown or a blast beat in the intro😂 dude didn’t even listen to this album, just shit on it

Same here for being a fan since blank space cover song. Personally Everytime you leave was my personal favorite from this album.
Killerrr song. So many feels, sweet sweet vocals, I dig it loads.🤘💜💜
I love this song!

Agree with you on this one. Chill out track to conserve energy for what's to come 😉
Watch the video‼️‼️

First time I heard this on the radio I was so sure it was Kellin Quinn from Sleeping w/ Sirens on the track with I Prevail.

My favorite song when I'm drunk and get emotional
❤❤
hey wyatt whats exactly your hair color?

Gotta give ya credit Wyatt, you turned me on to I Prevail

I like how nobodys shits on other people's work.
What goes around, comes around.

This is by far my favorite song of the album!
Awesome 😎 song love this song
This song is magical
They just brought out a music video to this song. You should check that out and do a reaction video to that!
I couldn't agree more! The music along with the video definitely brought out the meaning of the song very vividly!! Was hoping others had made this comment!!
Just a good ole ballad
It sounds familiar because if you like it, you'll hear it again!
Love this track
i love this song

Only here because of Lindsey
This song is so good
Im here for your reaction lol

Every reactors favorite word when listening to a popular song that dosent have a breakdown “so generic, it’s to safe”
Head banged so hard listening to Gasoline on the city bus 🚎 that I almost lost my AirPods
music video of this song
can make you feel some messages of the current world
If you've ever seen the music video, then the acoustic version I think you'll get a better understanding.
I have to disagree I really loved this song one of the best in my opinion not only in the way it sounds but lyrically it’s very well written
Great song.
I think it’s more of we want YOU to capture everything and enjoy the music, that’s the way I see it anyway, I know it’s late and I’ve heard the record numerous times but yeah...
I love this Songs because of Delaney Jane Because i know her from EDM music!
It seems to be the "Detroit" metal sound right now! Sleeping with Sirens - I See Stars stuff has a touch of that emo vocal left in it!
Who mixed this record ?
you mention the band SLEEPING WITH SIRENS! react to dr vdeo!
Cool
If talk haven't watched the Music Video yall need too watch it 🤘🤘🤘
Reminds me of old Skillet, especially the bridge
Let’s just say last album I could go a whole gym sesh without skipping a song, I would definitely be skipping this one.
Parker N this is a fantastic song. Prolly one of the best on the album
Watch it with the music video
BMTH INFLUENCE PERIOD
You should do the drum cover for it 🔥🔥
My mom put it on repeat
I feel the same about her but I can’t put my finger on it and I still don’t know!.
Heavy by Linkin Park?
Sitting here critiquing music while not producing your own, and instead just doing covers. Very safe, its very safe strategy.
wish they had more slow songs like this and let me be sad
I Feel like if you look at the lyrics and the bridges there is some originality . but overall feel is safe i can agree with that
I could completely off-base, but I got a Skillet vibe between Brian and Delaney. I don't know who the female singer is, but that's what I instantly thought of. It is generic and safe. If you can, check out the video they released recently, I felt the same til the video came out.
MandaPanda Omg, I saw the new music video for this!!! I CRIED during the entire video! I can’t believe my original comment was from last year, but this whole album has grown on me.
Should have listen to it with the video
I can see this reaction without the video but I can only imagine the reactions if the same things were said if you reacted this way to the music video. The video changes everything.
Yes there is a video of gasoline
Are these people from Wisconsin? They sound just like my Aunt & Uncle from LaCrosse hahaha
They’re Canadian lol
Is it just me or does Delaney sound like Taylor Swift. Kind of ironic because their first cover was a Taylor Swift song.
Lead singer I thought was from skillet
she sounds like halsey
It's definitely safe but the video was awesome and linked into the lyrics
Don't pause the song play the song all the way then talk
I taught u both was watching the music video
just cause its slow doesnt make it bad bruvs
Wyatt barely gives eye contact
How can people even say its pop?! LOL.. its by far one of the better tracks they´ve produced (in my opinion). It is a rock/pop rock song. Still going under the genre of ROCK.. not Heavy rock or hard rock, just the rock genre.
you have no idea
Youre opinion is awesome. Good song for sure. But youre a particular musician. When people come to watch youre reaction.. they should understand youre built for true metal. Lol
Please react to the video!!!!!!!!!!
Lol
I mean this is a good song, just not what I expect when I hear I Prevail.
