The room you showed is missing one of the two large Stairs/drawers units. And I only saw one pedestal. Where are they??
Updates for sure 😯, I was in Cresswell from 95-97 and back then Brumby was an all girls building
Nice job! I've seen a lot of dorm tours cuz my son is currently at Georgia State. But we're hoping he can transfer to my alma mater Georgia soon. But anyway that is one of the best room tours I have seen. Brumby was my home for a couple years also
Hey there I've been trying to figure out my room layout in preparation for move-in, and I could have sworn that the different website pages for each hall and room had a link for additional room specifications, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm trying to find the height under a fully lofted bed, and other things that I remember being on that sheet. Is there anywhere I can find that again?
Hi Courtney 👋 thank you for your message. We've recently revamped our website so some features from our old website are no longer active. We have some info on our glossary page here: housing.uga.edu/glossary/
When the lofted beds are raised to the highest position, there is 60" of vertical clearance underneath. If you have any additional measurement requests, you can get in contact with your community office and they can assist you in getting the info you need. Hope that helps! :)

Where are the second set of stairs/drawers??
All rooms with 2 residents have 2 of each item-including the stair chests.
Does each room in Brumby have 2 ladders? Can you ask housing to remove the ladders?
Hi Sheila 👋 That is correct, each room in Brumby comes with two ladder-chests, one per resident. While the pieces are freestanding and can be moved around the room, they are not able to be removed from the room.
@@UniversityHousingUGA HOWEVER the room shown in the video above only has ONE stair/ladder/drawer thing (AND it is missing a pedestal as far as I can tell)
@@nataliepyles8910 That is correct, the room shown in this video is an ADA room in Brumby. When working with students who are registered with the Disability Resource Center, we partner with the DRC to create a space that is going to be most conducive to the individual student's needs which may include removing furniture. This particular room also includes an attached bathroom where residents Noah and Ben stored their second pedestal. How many students have to share the 4 showers in the community bathroom?
Hi Taiyo! There are about 32 residents on each wing in Brumby and multiple bathrooms on each floor so there are typically no issues finding an open shower. Hope that helps!
