Oil and gas companies and industry publications use several abbreviations (or acronyms) for produced resources, including Bbl, Boe, BTU and Mcf. In this video, we’ll define some of the most common abbreviations and their volume prefixes for basic oil and gas training. This information is great for oil and gas basics, training and education.

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service defines a BOE as equal to 5.8 million BTU. It's an approximation as grades of oil and gas have slightly different heating values.

Dear sir nice video , but what is an average cost of lng ship in liquid phase ,
Like when we make price for lng in mmbtu to be = 5$
doest it mean that we are considering lng btu price in vapor phase and not in liquid phase.
Bez as we know that
1m3 of liquid lng = 600 x liquid lng
So when we price we convert 1st liquid volume into gases volume and then we price , the heat energy in m3 volume of lng as a gas

1Bbl means 1 billion barrel litres ok 158.987 litres is 1 barrel ok 158 trillion litres crude oil 🛢️ price is over 8,000 rupees ok if they filter crude oil we get petrol, diesel, vaslin etc ok today 100 rupees per liter petrol price is charged in India lol 😂😂 government make us fool
