Every part of Nightwish is essential, every person. Tuomas knows that. So he isn't just humble, he's all respect, he's thankfull. Together they tell these stories.
It was when Nightwish, a couple of years later, went back to the venue where Nightwish had the first concert with Floor, she thanked the audience for the support last time, and admitted she was so nervous she almost s.it her pants then. I so respect that they always care about the audience. They aren't just there to make money or be perfect. They believe in fulfilling their commitment. And giving the audience a show. But the people are so dedicated that they are willing to ride with the band on any journey.
Not only did Floor save the band. The band saved Floor. Floor was suffering from severe burnout when Tuomas called her. And not enough credit can be given to Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) and Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) for stepping and holding down the fort during that chaos.

NW had to cancel an US Tour in the past, because of some problems with Tarja. I think it caused so much trouble, that the band would do anything to avoid it from happening again
I read that when they first started, they were panned in the press for having a lame production. I think Tuomas has fixed that pretty well. I always wondered why they didn't let Marko sing all the songs but I see they did that in Salt Lake City. BTW, I saw a interview where Tuomas said they briefly looked at Floor back in 2005 but knew she probably wouldn't leave After Forever because they were really at the top of their form and hitting the charts pretty well.
NW has always had a woman singing as a lead. Marko could do that and does sing some songs but in NW he hasnt. It was Anette who sang in Salt lake city, that was her last show - you cant see or hear her in this doc because she didnt give permission to that.
Anette, of course, had every right not to be in the video, but the decision was out of revenge. She could have left it and made money from the documentary, but revenge was more important to her. So she underlined again that she did not agree with the separation. Which was completely unnecessary, because everyone knew that anyway. So she not only lost money, but also sympathy points and through Floor she was also quickly forgotten, because everything got better. Nightwish may have lost a few Anette fans, but brought back a lot of fans who left because of Anette and also gained new fans. I'm not saying it was perfectly okay how Nightwish did with Anette, but there was a decision to be made whether to cancel the tour or continue. The latter was chosen. This is life. Anette knew at the moment of the announcement that the tour would end with Floor, that she was permanently out. She doesn't stand a chance, well it's Floor.
Well i think Anette makes better music these days then when she was with Nightwish. Anette have some bangers with the band, but from a overall perspective Anette can now do music that she truly enjoy and plan her scheduel as she please. I don't really blame her for what happened, she went straight into one of the biggest metal bands in Europe from being more or less unknown. Alysin Avenue wasn't a bad band, but with very little touring and only two studio albums she came like out of nowhere into a band which tours for a full year across the whole globe every album release... that's quite a massive undertaking and she did the best she could tbh. the fact that she wasn't comfortable with alot of the Tarja era songs also caused some issues. I like Anette more now when she's not in Nightwish and i think she's also feeling alot better.
I have to admit i wasn't familiar with Camelot before i saw this documentary some times ago. I checked them, liked them and subscribed and whatever 🥰 Good job
Hello from the Netherlands Highly . after this documentary you should actually watch the Dutch program "De Reünie" because in this you also hear the story from Floor's side in a large part of the broadcast. Among other things, she says that she had just finished her burn-out and if Nightwish had also called a week or two earlier to come over, she would have said NO! † you have to consider how everything would probably have looked different for both sides . thanks for the video . mabey some people gonna hate me for this but i need to be honest. i loved nightwish with tarja (even know she was a B) then anette joint and i stoped listen to nightwish. she is not a bad singer but she was NOT suited for nightwish. And then there was floor. I liked her from after forever then revamp and finaly nightwish. i can't tell who is better and i don't want that cause floor and tarja are different but both beautifull singers. But yeah i stared listening to nightwish again since floor joint. And then again heartbroken cause marco left.
