you got lucky. i had to sit through a 90 second ad from antifa promoting the legalization of gluten free transgender inter-species marriage. it was informative though.
Just keep releasing stuff off of Relentless Mutation. No sarcasm. It's a genius album and I'm still listening to it at least 2/3 times a day despite it being a year old now.
I was explaining tech death to my dad and I showed him this and he was like “that’s easy” and I was like ok dad you asked me what the difference between major and minor is yesterday I’m sure you can play that
Just noticed Tobi holds it almost the exact same way I do and I’ve never seen anyone else do it like that lmao. Now I just gotta get as good as the goat himself.
I have a few thoughts on this. I loved the style of this video. I also love that the vocals were stripped out and the guitar parts were actually 'live' not prerecorded tracks off the CD like so many other play through videos. It was nice to hear the raw human version and it's easier to hear both guitar parts without the vocal track. The directing as far as the actual play through goes could have been better. There were some parts where I wanted to see what one guitar was doing and it wasn't shown. There was another part where the guitar player was doing something awesome and the camera cut away before the end of the bit. Jumping around so much isn't entirely necessary to keep attention of the viewer, it's easy enough just looking at the picking and the fingers of a static screen, though I do like cuts as a way to express director creativity. I saw y'all in SLC a few weeks ago with Obscura and the like. It was the best performance/time I've had at a concert ever. You guys deliver live and it was super fun! Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to the tech craft and I look forward to future videos and albums from you.
@Wolfgang Antonio Monteverdi Lol, they filmed it with different guitars and from different angles, but you can hear it's a live take. People editing the video cared about nice footage and compilation i guess. You think it'd be better if they chop sound according to video takes they made? 😂 Dean often plays these tracks live on streams while casually reading the chat and answering, don't think they we're trying to cheat somehow
I watched this video so many times. I bought a guitar yesterday and I've been struggling with the basics. Rewatching this video just makes me love it so much more, it's insane.
This is a band where everyone is talented but the drummer is the fucking star Imo. I normally hate blast best style drums but Spencer fucking kills it.
At first i thought they were just a couple guitarists covering the song. "Theyre doing a really good job, I wonder if dean lamb has reacted to this video" XD
hey I cant express enough how happy it makes me to see an actual play through video with its own audio and not just playing along to the album track! not throwing shade on other bands but you guys are the real fuckin deal stay tech \m/\m/
Still can't believe I found this in reddit/dota , a guy asking for this to be music ingame. 5 years laters I still want that to happen, and I have seen them live
the ending is awesome, i didn't catch this the first few times i watched it (on my phone) but it was pretty clever how the mix went from stereo to what sounds like a mono tv speaker right after all the low end faded out. masterpiece!
You are in luck. They even released an ONLY drum playthrough about a year before the album was released. Have fun with this sick piece of early sneak preview: th-cam.com/video/3SEkiWESw5Q/w-d-xo.html EDIT: lul. Over TWO years before!
Love it when you go to watch a guitar playthrough but just get shots moving out of frame on a slider, focus pulling to nothing but an out of focus shot, and ofc ADD editing. Such a shame it's not just static so I can actually see the madness in real-time.
Black guitar is solid tensed like me (3:07 prob wouldn't be possible without it) so I'm crazy jealous how Green just keeps his hands so laid back 1:51 like NBD
Now THAT'S entertainment! With tons of undead mobs, guns, nuclear explosions and war, conquer your fear with this excellent film by Stay Tech Productions! Starring Dean Lamb as the Goshawk, the main hero, and Tobi Morelli as 'Chop-Top' Sawyer, the villain. Now available on VHS, DVD and Blu-Ray.
Thanks for checking out the video, everyone! #staytech
Also piss!
Guys you are the best band in the world. Please know this, and know there’s a dude in Connecticut who’s life you’ve made better with your music.
#staytech is a refer to a certain guitar cover video made by 560000560000 perhaps?
@@yaburr nahhhh, we made the Staytech logo almost 8 years ago now.
Loving it so much, pandora channel for rings of saturn did not disappoint. Wish I heard of y’all earlier!
Tobi going for the tuners was hilarious.
Kyle Reid best part of the video. Including the song. I’m so lonely.
🤣
Yes 😆
That made me laugh.
It's very impressive that these guys write music this insane and still manage to make it catchy
4 albums worth of riffs and ideas in one 4 minute song. Insane.
🙏
Why can’t I skip this Kiesel ad?
If TH-cam ads were like this I would never skip then

@@TomMusick so stunning so brave
God, do I ever want a Kiesel, though! Haha!
Some metal musicians are butchers, Archspire are surgeons!!!

Necrophagist is better xD
Although it came out a year ago, it hasn't aged a bit honestly
Dude same.
Agreed. It spoiled me.
Same here...
These robots keep getting more human like, scary
Christian yackel that Detroit become human game was just a prediction
They terminate our sloppy metronome minds with their precise rhythm.
Christian yackel Human Mumuration.
Christian yackel *These Robots aren’t even trying to be human anymore
Actually from robots they became human got bored now becoming humanoids
I was explaining tech death to my dad and I showed him this and he was like “that’s easy” and I was like ok dad you asked me what the difference between major and minor is yesterday I’m sure you can play that
😂
I mean relative to other archspire this is one of the easier ones
Tech wise, its not overly complicated, just precision alternate picking through most of it.
And then his dad started shredding like there's no tomorrow, ha!
So wholesome 😢
Involuntary Kieselganger
Dean's picking hand is absurdly great. Tobi's picking technique is always hilarious to me. The way he holds his pick man... He kills it though.
Just noticed Tobi holds it almost the exact same way I do and I’ve never seen anyone else do it like that lmao. Now I just gotta get as good as the goat himself.
These guys definitely need more Guitars from Kiesel.
eiwerum except for that mystery guitar at 3:35. Is it really a Kiesel without the drop logo above the neck pickup?? Is it!?!?
not a mystery guitar, its a Kiesel DC800 Deans first guitar from them if I remember! @@whatmattersmarshall
Ash body looks like with a black rawtone finish
1:26 probably my fav riff of the album, it's so much Necrophagist, lovely!
🙏
So true!
Nice Archspire cover, you guys should form a band, your playing is nice

Loved how absolutely raw and live it sounded. Amazing.

who needs visual stimulation? most people in here are musicians or at least want to see how he plays this

This Kiesel commercial is killing it!
Why does my guitar not do that?
"How many layers of *_Kiesel guitars_* ™ are you on right now?"
"Like 5 or 6 my dude"
"You are like a baby, watch this"
Nice to see some Kiesel guitars not djenting for once. Quality shred

Thank you for keeping the actual live unedited track!
Love when the riff sounds harder than the solo
Never change Archspire, please. Hillarious intro. Stay tech!
love Dean's tone!
One of the best tech death metal bands out there! Great job guy's!
This is as close as we will get to an instrumental version of Relentless Mutation.
I prefer the gold to the green guitar, but both very nice equipment. I don't mind the Kiesel ad. This band's music lives in my head rent free.
I've seen these guys live twice already, they kick ass!!

Sort of fitting that to really push the genre over the edge, you push out the serious bizness and just kinda goof off and own it and it still works.
3:06 And this is why you don't let the drummer write riffs for you in Guitar Pro

3:30 finally a part I can play along to!!
That grey Vader with the green pickups is probably the best looking Kiesel I've seen. Not normally into them.
They're parents are really proud of this two
This intro is astounding, love the VHS feel. Great playing also
