Overlook the fact Barrett said she doesn't think judges are bound by precedent. In other words, laws already interpreted by judges need to be revisited by incoming judges. BC they got it wrong and Barrett knows right. 13 TIMES trying to repeal the ACA a law already interpreted

robin potter lie, lie, liar. President of Roe v Wade would stand for the first trimester. However, the right to kill a viable baby in the last week of its term will most likely be subject to challenge not by the Supreme Court but if a southern state like Texas decided to pass a law disallowing late term abortions of a viable baby. However, as my law professor stated, if your in Texas, or California and don’t wish to be around one side of that issue move. What chance would Roe v Wade had of making it through the Supreme Court had it allowed viable ( could live on their own) be killed, and then had there body parts sold off for profits? Or if Roe v Wade stared that all states couldn’t, or could change notification laws of minor teens. Had the law contained that there would have been Zero chance if Row v Wade getting through our Supreme Court. Our professor told us free choice 20 somethings, “ you don’t want 9 unelected officials making those decisions. Your for Roe v Wade because you agree with it.

Well at the end of the day we are Americans. Please remember that in this election. Also remember the Russians and other foes want us to fall. @Dave Wurst You don’t think she’ll be asked tough questions? She’s brilliant. Judges do not answer questions about hypothetical cases. That is called the Ginsburg rule. If she’s in the mold of Scalia, she would most likely follow stare decisis (let the decision stand) on Roe v. Wade. Why is she a kook?

I can't comment on her as a judge, but as a person she seems lovely.

We have to remember that the Supreme Court assesses the tough, difficult cases, where there exists a lot of ambiguity and difficulty in interpreting the law. There are also precedents, aiding the interpretation of law, exactly because it is often so unclear. Yet the precedent was decided by a previous judge, not written in the law itself.

@Louisiana Red Judge Barrett was already vetted by the U.S. Senate just 3 years ago by the U.S and she passed that. She now has 3 more years of experience. Barrett was on Trump's short list for the SCOTUS last year. There are also plenty of TH-cam videos for getting to know her better.
@Louisiana Red personal information is not necessarily the purpose of these hearings nor is it for the purposes of grandstanding and people giving a speech about how they won't vote for her because she is against their policy. The hearing purpose is supposed to be to confirm that she is a qualified judge which she is everything else is just politics.
