- Welcome to Part 3, also Day 3 of our journey with the Vevor Lathe. As a reminder, we are new to machining and are learning as we go. We're sharing these videos in case other beginners are interested in exploring mini lathes for small projects. While we don't specialize in fabrication or machining, we hope to learn and greatly appreciate any tips and advice you can offer!

Love this series. I just bought one to use in a small engine side business I'm starting. In the process of setting mine up and upgrading. Your videos have been a huge help.
Thanks for tuning in! While I'm just getting started myself, I'm really happy to hear that the videos have been helpful for you! We're eager to learn more about what you're working on. Feel free to share more about your business whenever you're ready!
I lock the carriage using the socket head bolt located under the tail/crank of the compound. I keep the supplied allen key in it at all times to lock/unlock at will
Thank you for the tip, I'll have to check on that!
Your tool is in on the wrong face !
We'll give it another shot. Initially, we had it positioned with the appropiate side bit, but we achieved better results when mounted the way you see in the video.
