If you really want to save money, go after Christmas. That's when I buy trees and decorations at 50%-75% off. It's also fun when you take out the decorations the next x-mas because I forgot what I bought and it's like a Christmas present for me. 🙂

Yes, the same for wrapping paper and Christmas cards.
Yes, I do the same thing... And you are SO right about taking out the decorations the next year and getting surprised by what you forgot that you bought on after-Christmas sale. So fun!
I don't have a theme I just decorate my tree with my grandmother ornaments in memory of her.

Yessss this is also how I fluff my trees!! It’s seriously a GAME CHANGER!!
We fluff as we go as well. We also add the extra lights as we go. Just easier than having to go back afterwards and move the branches around. Looks absolutely beautiful ladies!
The beads are like the "popcorn strings" of an old fashioned Christmas tree!

Oh and the blanket for the tree skirt great idea, Ive also used round table cloths cut a hole in the center and slid it over no fuss.

I've always been scared of the ribbon process and got it wrong last year. This year, with the help of your video, I FINALLY got it right! Btw: You two ladies are such a cute mother-daughter pair! Thank you!
Suggestion: use wooden dowels or stick created by cutting apart wire hangers instead of wooden spoons and attach for the star. You can keep it in permanently and you have the spoons for cooking.
I’m so emotional watching you and your mom. I wish I had that. I wish I could have things like this to decorate a tree but most I wish I had friends or family do be with on the holidays 😢😢 I love your relationship

these trees are beautiful. I just moved into my own apartment a few months ago so this year will be my first time decorating my own tree and the whole apartment. Im so excited! I need to go out and get some decorations. Ive already got a few things that I used to use to decorate my bedroom and some ornamnents that were gifted to me over the years that my parents gave to me to put up in my new place. My mom used to work in a Christmas store and always decorates our tree so beautifully with the same ornaments every year that all have special meaning to us or were gifts or handmade from me and my brother. It gives it a nice unique personal homey touch

To move the tree while your decorating, put those small furniture sliders in the bottom of the tree stand. You will be surprise how easy it is to move the tree around!

LOVE THEM !!! I am going with a woodland meets farmhouse look this year. I tried just the woodland last year and I didn't care for it at all lol This year I figured I would add a little farmhouse to it and remove the pieces I really didn't care for, fingers crossed I like it or it will be redone completely !!

When I was strapped for cash, on my own with two young boys, I found that a white lace tablecloth I had made a beautiful tree skirt under our tree. Your idea for a blanket for the large trees is brilliant.

I just love the way you style and decorate Kylie!! So my theme, which I do every year(got it from my Mama😆) is just a collection of all our favorite ornaments. Ever year we are gifted different ones. So the trees, in my opinion, just look fun and a tad personal. And of course I have to add in both of my boys' school craft ones! Thanks for all the neat tips and ideas! Lots of Love from NC✌🏼💜🤗

Love this video. For the star on top, I use that long piece at the top of the tree and wrap it around the spiral part of the star to help hold it up. Kinda like screwing it on!

My first tree video of 2023!!!! Glad I found you - I am a new subscriber! My Hint: YES! Do the blanket for a skirt, or you can mix and match throws that coordinate with your color and theme. One thing I ALWAYS do is to ball up wads of tissue paper (different sizes, of course) and arrange them UNDER the "skirt". This eliminates the "frozen pond" look by giving it gentle elevations - and when you start to add presents, the piles just flatten under the weight!
This year I am going for a farmhouse look using black and white plaid and a splash of red for color. Kylie this was an amazing tutorial, especially on how to do the ribbon! I loved it! TY Merry Christmas! 👏❤️😊

Thank you ladies,I enjoyed the Xmas decor last year, even bought ribbons. This tutorial is brilliant,thank you. One tree is always red green and gold,and everything has to be shiny and glitterto catch the light. Our other tree is pink,and everything is pink ha ha.
I add the extra lights as I fluff each section. Makes it so much easier! :)

I just started my granddaughters bedroom today. She wanted a winter wonderland theme. I even decorated the bedroom door. My oldest granddaughter wants a tradition christmas theme. I will be working on hers next weekend.

I love watching everything you do come up with some really great things. That tree is just absolutely positively gorgeous I am in my 70s right now and I don’t have a theme I don’t even have a tree this year. I had a small fiber optic one but a broken well you know people on fixed incomes just can’t but anyway your tree is absolutely beautiful and so every time I come on your channel or your mom‘s channel I’ll be able to see how gorgeous the trees are.Thank you for showing us

Beautiful trees. My tree this year is a woodland theme. I was debating whether or not to put a tree up this year because I live alone and typically go to one of my kids houses for Christmas. But after watching this video, I've decided to put one up. I only have a 3 ft tree because I live in a condo and it's only 750 sq ft. But I definitely will be decorating soon.

I use a vintage quilt for a tree skirt.
I have a tiny tiny tree :) and I like silver and white. I use the same ornaments every year because my budget is tight. But I buy one new ornament every year and write the year on it. Its a little present for my self and its fun hunting for :) Here in Norway we don't use ribbon as much, but it looks nice so maybe I will try something new this year. Its always fun to watch your videos :) Happy Christmas from Norway :)
The trees look stunning Kylie!! It’s my fave time of year/activity too. I put Dolly Partons Holly Dolly Christmas album on and spend hours and hours on my trees! We have three trees - The living room main tree (real) will be Red, white, gold, and darker red this year. Not sure what balance of what colour until I come to it! The dining room tree is a slim flocked artificial, this one has a base of dark red and green jewel tones but with quirky little decorations mixed in too. It gives us something interesting to look at over dinner as there’s fun little things hidden all over (this year I’ve bought the worlds smallest Elf on a Shelf to tuck in for example!). My third is another slim flocked artificial and this goes in the conservatory. This is where our house bunnies lived, we just lost our last one in September at age 12. We call it The bunnies/Lola’s tree & is themed with little woodlandy animals and a berry garland. We will still do it even though they are no longer with us. I am looking forward to all your Christmas content coming up! x

Good evening! Thanks for sharing your tips. I will most definitely be doing some rethinking in decorating my Christmas tree. I live on the island of Guam and we do mostly island style Christmas. Outside, we decorate banana trees and coconut trees. Inside we use moss to our nativity scene and our Christmas tree are decorated with regular ornaments plus ornaments made with coconut leaves (ones used to make baskets here). Thank you so much for your tips. I've never used ribbons but I feel like maybe this year I can do it. Hafa adai and love from the island of Guam 🌴🌲🎅🤶🌴
