Hey Vincent, If you are looking for a decent affordable option the new Minelab xterra pro looks a great option. And then if you want to upgrade to the nox or even manticore in a year or two the transition would be easier. Depends on your budget I suppose. As Craig said if you want to stay with what you know the Garretts are not bad but they don’t like mineralisation so not great on the beach and tend to be heavier than the new machines. The simplex is a good detector but not great for discriminating out the iron (in my experience)! So many options out there.. Good luck and happy hunting! D.
