Since I haven't got to get out detecting in a while I said I'd put together some of my favourite finds from this year. Definitely my best Silver year!
I put the Silver finds down to the Deus 2. Absolutely fantastic machine. I started off with the 13 inch coil and then added the 9 inch which has actually found more Silver that the 13! Brilliant at picking signals out in iron infested areas.

Did you find out what the coin with bit out of it was in the end?
Think it's a halfpenny Token but it must be misstruck. Brittania on the back should be lower than it is.

My buddy Micks first ever coin was that 1921 florin and I nearly had a heart attack when he pulled that out. Haven't seen one since... Lovely livery button and that KG4!! Im seriously wondering if these big rallys have had their day. More of a social weekend chatting to like minded people with some detecting thrown in. Having said that theres usually something half decent found, but realistically youd expect a lot more. Just my tuppence worth. Easy watch lads.
Yeah i think if you go there with the mindset it's a social gathering with a bit of craic, then the detecting and finds will just top it off. It's hard to know what's going to be in the ground in an area. Then the other thing is half the finds might not be shown etc..
Beautiful scenery driving to the hunt, I think that one object you dug up was a gelato spoon, or one of those tighteners for a string on a guitar. Still look like a fun hunt. My question did the equinox you were using do a lot of falling in the stubble, congrats
I'll have to ask Noely that one. I don't remember him saying it done any falsing. I doubt it did to be honest. The scenery there was unbelievable. I had so much more that I couldn't fit in the vid!

Awesome, when I found my first Roman, I actually thought it was from the 1600-1700s. It wasn't until I cleaned it up that I found out it Roman. Your reaction is priceless.😂😂
