Say a prayer for Mike Ness the main man of Social Distortion. He was recently diagnosed with cancer in one of his tonsils so they had to cancel their shows. I had tickets to see them at the Harley Davidson 120th Anniv. celebration in Milwaukee. Social D. and Mike will still remain on my bucket list to see (said with tears). Get Well Soon Mike! We all love you and want to see you perform when you are better my friend!
You have never seen Social D live?
You definitely missed great shows with the original line up and the second incarnation of the band. The recent line up is not too hot. Definitely not the Social D of 20 years ago or even 30 years ago.
I had tickets to the Social D, Cincy show. It would’ve been the 13th time seeing them. Not so lucky 13.

The coolest rockstar ever I got hang out with him one summer I felt so privileged to drive in his 49 on cruise from Huntington Beach to Long Beach and back best summer ever .

I heard his Music 25 years ago at a party for the first time by pure chance…now i am 41 and nearly every day i listen to his music. Very sad to hear about his cancer…wish Mike all the best
I've seen social d like three or four times always a good show last time he he had a violionist from the opening band join him on stage it was mind blowing hearing him jam with social d.
