  • This is the Third part of the 3-part series.
This bike is a 1928, 350cc, OHV Douglas. Originally produced to play Motorcycle football but, performed well enough to be competitive in the 350 racing class as well.
This time the engine is placed pack in the bike, will it start in a couple of kicks?

thankyou so much for these 3 video's. i have been fumbling my way through assembling a 350 after I pulled it down when I found end play in the crank.

@@mostlymotorcycles. yes keep going.. without the wonderful effort from individuals as yourself these beautiful machines would disappear to memory.

Spotto at 35.45 standing in front of my Yamaha Dt , that’s unfortunate you didn’t finish. I do remember passing you out of balingup heading up the hill .Such a beautiful bike mate.

hi, do you know of any website or TH-cam video that describes how to put the flywheel/clutch assembly together, I don't know what I am doing wrong? btw (the purists will shoot me) I was having a carb problem so I put a honda ct125 carb on the bike and it has never run so well

The Old Dougls always benefits from some decent carburation. Dad did a similar thing with his CW in the 80s and got a few sideways looks at the rallies.
As for your clutch issues. Are you aware of the "Douglas motorcycle forum" on google. It's a massive wealth of information.
