Twin sisters Erimo and Marimo Ikeuchi-members of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) of Japan - take their best shots at this one-of-a-kind course. Five Cat machines-a 772G, 775G and 793F Off-Highway Truck, 982M Wheel Loader, and CT660 On-Highway Truck -make up the fairway, the hazards and the green. The result is a golf course unlike any these two pro golfers have ever attempted.

Best damn advertisement Cat has ever developed! It's about time someone combined a little human interest and humor with the outstanding capabilities of these monsters. I bet anyone who watches the whole thing will remember it and will recall it was about Caterpillar Trucks and Earthmoving Equipment. Far more than can be said for about 90% of today's commercials.
This is what real advertising is about... product recall and the message. These big monsters are highly versatile, easily maneuverable and apparently damn fun to operate. It also appears the Brand Name is clear and memorable. Classic. If it gets decent exposure it will be worth whatever they spent for it.

1. Cause its stupid.
2. There's no relevance to what a 797 truck...or any of those Cat equipment can accomplish in this video.
3. The video doesn't convey any aspect of how a Cat machine is rugged, reliable, dependable and utilitarian
4. Golf is an elitist sport....and Caterpillar (hopefully) isn't built on elitism...instead built on hard work, innovation and good design
5. Why would the golf girls high 5 and hug each other at the end of it?? They didn't get the putt, the 797 truck operator assisted in the putting - so they're wrong/pretentious in celebrating and giving each other congratulatory hugs.
6. Instead show how a Cat machine shows building up communities, how it helped Washington out of the tornado damage, help build the freedom tower in NY...that's inspiring.
