Let's be honest this is very bad from Apple and very bad customer service leaving customers out at sea. Why is it so hard to just place an update area like in settings for the iphone or just a separate app. I have the Airpod pro 2's and I have been trying for about 6 months even not trying intentionally but no update to the latest firmware update.

hey i have a problem maybe you know anything about it. i have airpods 2nd gen and recently i cant update them at all tried many ways even apple supporrt but nothing. and the case blinks when i put in the 1 airpod. (the. airpod is completly dead) and i cant seem to charge it but i worked fine yesterday. Thank you

They don’t want you to update they want you to think they need replaced so you go get new ones I have a used pair of pro 2nd gens that I can’t update I’m so mad the features aren’t working right now

This is just dumb, they should have an update firmware option. I guess that will be part of the IOS 19 or whatever they try to push on us.

from day 1 of owning my airpods max, I have yet to receive an update. I am still on a very old patch. I own both an iPhone 14+ and a m2 mac mini. My wife owns an iPhone. I have left them plugged into the mac overnight, I have them in the case and out, on and off, nothing triggers the updates, and its been over a year since I have bought them.

@@ralphtime they said I made "unapproved modifications" to a brand new pair of airpods max. I didn't. I ended up switching to Sony headphones which sound better, a PC, and Android as did my wife with a Windows laptop and a pixel 8. Apple lost me as a customer for life.
