I really enjoyed this M/V, song, and your reaction! They killed it serving fierceness, cvnt, body, and looks! Parts of the song melody reminded me of Pirate-Everglow. We all knew going in it was going to be heavily 2NE1 inspired visually and they delivered and did not disappoint! Love a good female empowerment anthem which had me gagged! My fav look was the Cruella De-vil outfit and the ending crystal diamond body suit! It reminded me of Beyoncé in The Beyoncé Experience tour costume which is a huge compliment. I'm not a big G-Idle fan but I am definitely adding this to my playlist with the only other song I have on it by them which is Dumb-di-dum. One word budget! I read they spent just under a million for the M/V 880K.

For soyeon and Minnie: In roman mythology, Medusa is punished by Minerva for Poesidon's crimes b/c he violated her in Minerva's temple. Poseidon was one of the Main Gods and therefore couldn't be punished so Medusa was used as a scapegoat. Soyeon and Minnie destroying the Poseidon statue together could signify women joining hands and supporting victims by placing accountability on the person in the wrong rather than victim blaming. Medusa is often used as a symbol for r*pe/sa survivors.
Minerva? Is that another name for Athena? /gen Also it depends what story you go based on , in a different version Medusa’s curse is seen as a blessing so she can stop others from being sa’d. I’m not saying yours is wrong just pointing out another perspective on the story ❤
minerva in roman mythology is considered to be the equivalent to Athena in greek mythology. yes there are different versions, but with the message of the song and the context clues provided in the MV the one I pointed out is most likely@@epickirbyns399

I think the queen of spades is a call back to blackjacks, blackjacks is the fandom name of 2ne1. They might big fans of 2ne1. The whole MV reminds me of 2nd gen, Snsd's The Boys, After school's Bang, and a lot more.

These girls are forever growing with their music. They only go upwards. They are amazing in terms of artist. They love producong music. Their albums are always fire and they can be sexy while being matured and not so vulgar. They literally are 2NE1 successors man. I mean they are only new group i see that actually grows with their art and makes genuine music and not some random 2 minute song and 2 minutes of a bass.
As a certified BlackJack, this is very much so giving 2NE1 to the max
