Another incredible show Donnie, GL and Ping! I will never forget Fro showing up in all black Shift gear to the outdoor nationals. It made the statement that he was there to win without a doubt. So cool to Fro being himself.
As a father of three boys, I can tell you your father was understanding because he knew your true character, he knew that one mistake or incident with your life didn’t define you.

what a great interview with Jeff Emig. Whiskey Throttle is a go to, to see the facts about riders and their lives are not all only pro racing but they had to struggle like the rest of us. But the Most of us gave up when life was hard, That's why guys like Emig are called Pro's and Legends of the sport. You two are as well, Thank you for these great interviews.

GT is an awesome outdoors commentator. Emig was a staple of super cross. It’s awesome to have RC up in the booth and giving his insight as he has always done a great job when he has filled in and been 3rd on the broadcast so it’s a great next stage in our sport. No reason for hating, these are how things go in sport with people taking new positions etc. My hats off to all you gents who continue to carry the flag and bring Moto into our living rooms for us to enjoy!!!

My dad, friends and I Forrest Gumped our way into pits at Dallas Supercross when Emig and MC were test driving the monster trucks. Got a pick with Emig when he got out of grave digger. Also sat on side where he was hitting triple. Epic childhood memory.

Nice to hear the shout out to Hammering Hank Moree. And yeh local events in NC tracks often had amateurs beating Larry Ward, Jeff Stanton and people like that regularly. And I'm NOT saying just Damon either in his youth. Rusty Coleman was a badass and no one ever knew who he was.. Hank Moree would get his ass whipped by Rusty often.. Rusty went to Lake Sugartree and killed ALL the pro's times the day after they raced. So much talent at the local levels that people don't even know about.. What was a wake up call to me was seeing how well locals would do at the Charlotte Supercross finishing top 10.. And here I am out there with them every week racing these guys.. Loved growing up racing.. Other local riders, Jim Neese, Patrick Slate, Mike Andrews, Fred Andrews, and of course Damon Bradshaw, and a few girls that seriously kicked ass as well locally.
Awesome stuff. I'm such a huge fan of Jeff and this interview just makes me an even bigger fan. And I have that CNC Golden State national from 1988 on VHS--TNN was THE channel for the good stuff back then! Sunday afternoons were Motoworld and often a great one-off race like that CNC National.
Dude this show is gold.never thoughtidisten to/watch a youtube video for hours on end but when you love a sport as much as we do and you put a show on like this that explains the history and legends of the sport with such good people and add some fun and drinks, solid perfection! hooked, keep them coming!!!
If Riverside house meaning the Grand Terrace (pronounced Terrr-ah-chee) house, I can tell you those were some of the gnarliest parties that I ever was blessed to be a part of. Neighbor and Wiggins can verify my multiple snowboard runs down the stairs...IN THE HOUSE.🤙 Lost touch over the years but those dudes provided me with with some of the funniest memories of my life. (Think Buttery without phones and no documentation).Such a warm feeling I get when I think how lucky to call those dudes my boys!!

It was good to hear from Jeff & gain new insight into Ralph as a person as well. Ralph & Ricky will do fine. No one has said why though.. Langston is great for the outdoors. His voice and experience is perfect with Weege. Can electric bikes open up more riding areas in the urban areas?

I'm curious to know why Emig and Langston still drink alcohol? I thought Emig had his issues in the 90's and I read an interview where Grant said he drank heavily after he retired and was going through a divorce. I'm not bashing either one of these guys. I had my issues with alcohol and I don't drink a drop. If they can drink in moderation, which it seems they both can, then more power to them. For me it was complete abstinence from alcohol. I'm big fans of all three of these guys and love the show.
I am digging this show guys, kinda like the mx files from a few years back, I am a moto fan and to hear these stories is so freeking awesome! Keep up the great work and can't wait to see who will be the next guest, I have an race result sheet from Fro's mini days at Dodge City Ks at a qualifier race, which is my home track that is now bulldozer in, because aholes were making meth there and dumping trash.
I'm sure Ricky will improve but the first handful of races this year have, IMO, definitely not been as enjoyable or insightful in terms of the broadcast as Jeff being there. He really did his pre-race homework and gave each race 100%. I miss having him in the box with Ralph. Classy guy.

I'm digging this show. Would love to go next time I'm back home from the motocross mecca of New Orleans! Is it just me or are the timing loops different in SX this year. One of the things I liked about Jeff's commentary was that he would keep the viewer in the loop (pun intended) regarding lap times, and the gap between riders. That doesn't happen at all now. And the times on the screen don't seem to get updated as often.
How do I find out a schedule for appearances? Will they be doing stuff around the socal supercross rounds ? I'm coming from out of state to A2 and want to go to the show🤘😎🤘

It’s the third time I listened to this episode. Fro has a lot of class, cuz the 2 hosts just couldn’t let the party thing go. And Fro told them more than once to back off the party thing, but they wouldn’t. Then NBC sports gives Fro the boot, then GL quits, then NBC sports has to “re hire” Fro. Ha ha ha. I guess Fro coulda doubled his price and done other things to make the upper managements swivel chairs creak. I am happy Fro is back.
You can never top this Whisky Throttle. You busted too quickly. The only thing you can do now is bring on Denny Stephenson. Then end the show. You did it go yourselves. Absolute great episode. 💪
I appreciate these shows, but I really wish that the production would make an effort, and find a way, to present the images on the monitor in a better way. They need to zoom in on the monitor when they are showing cool images.
I dont necessarily think coaching is whats needed to grow the sport, i think its tracks and riding area's, Maybe not in California but in some parts of the country there is almost no place left to ride , not even just a field or a spot to make a turn track , all land is privately owned and its tough to find a place to ride!, people dont want to buy an expensive bike with no where to ride
