Had this when I was traveling from Palani to Udhmalpet. It's a different taste, since I was new, I felt the taste bit different, well you need to develop the taste. BTW don't know about this guy but there are similar guys who also sell awesome Jaggery cubes. Dark in color, hard crystal cubes. That too has a different flavor.

Wonderful, we call this as Taadi munjulu we won't mix anything in this we eat it directly by removing the super facial layer using a boul to collect delicious juice . We declared the Palmyra tree as our most valuable mankind friendly tree in our area Andhra Pradesh state in Bharat. I.e INDIA . Weare femiliorly know as Telugu(language) people of South INDIA

It’s called Munjal in Hyderabad, seasonal fruit usually comes in April. We don’t mix with water though. There’s little bit of water/juice in it

It is a soft drink extracted from the flower bunch of the palm tree, just as the extraction of toddy. This soft drink/juice is sweet & healthy. It is not intoxic. It is this juice (pathani or pathaneer -பதனி)
that is added to the palm fruit (nungu) as seen in the video.
