When I create a visual style to show hidden edges with dashed lines, the lines appear dashed on the screen but do not plot as dashed. Everything plots as a continuous line and hidden edges appear as continuous. How to solve?

    • @sabeercad

@@sabeercad I have done that. That' was my first action. Is not Line scale. on screen is everything good, but dashed lines that are automatically created in hidden edges are plotting as continuous.

+Todd Manner Work with Layers, always work with layers. Give each part it's own layer (and color). In the viewport you can choose what layers you want to be vissible and invissible bij repectivly Freezing or Thawing the Unwanted and Wanted layers. You can make fairly complex assemblys and very clear workdraftings this way. You also can dimension the parts in the Paperspace.

I find it confusing to put a top view below and a left view on the right. That's not the way I learned it 60 years ago. A top view should be above and a left view on the left. However, the tutorial is still very well presented.

You can follow the way you have learned . I have just shown an example . Once you the method , you can put any view in any side

Thank you for this video. You didnt continue to print it in pdf. I want to see if the realistic view is ok. I have a problem when printing to pdf the realistic view in my drawing. The realistic object is not good quality, it is pixelated ( poor quality). Please help me this. Thank you
