Since everything in siege is time-restricted, waiting for the opponents to time out is an important technique!
If you don't show up to be killed, your opponents are forced to be a dilemma, meaning that you have a higher chance of winning. (If time goes by your side of course)
yes there are a many instances when I clutched games by just being patient and playing for time, it fucking works.
I think people actually don’t know this.
I had a 1v3, killed 2 and didn’t know where the third was coming from so I ran out of objective and ran. My teammates turned their mics and and were yelling “he’s left side” “now he’s peeking right” “he’s behind you, go kill him, there’s only 9 seconds left” but I jus this and won the round and they didn’t say anything after that.
I think they actually didn’t know you could just play time on defense
bro 2 times yesterday i killed a guy super far from ob and they had defuse and both games someone would yell in chat "bro what are you doing they are in ob" or "why are you so far from point they killed us" like bro im garding defuse they have to get it (i won us both rounds and got 3 kills on on and 4 on the other) beeper op.

also another tip, if your on attacking and theres 15seconds on the clock stop holding angles and just run into sight, your not on defending your on attacking
This. I hate seeing the player thats peaking the same angle outside the building with only a minute on the clock. Then wait until the last 10 seconds to push in.

I swear when it’s a 1v1 with 5 secs left my teammates always fight the last person when the enemy don’t even have the defuser and die, just hide simple.
The ladt part i honestly pretty big. Alot of people either underestimate the power of playing time, or are just really kill hungry. Which is cool if you're the teams fragger. But unless you got an ace, kills only go so far.
as someone who plays warden if you get flashed dont use your ability just try swing then before you get hit

The last one is why somone people die so often sometimes you don’t need to play all aggressive. if it’s a 1v1 sometimes is best to play passive because the other play will have to play aggressive ,and risk making mistakes or time running out.

Honestly the best advice you can give any siege player at any skill level is just stop and listen to the map and the round. What's going on whe you're at
Last one was very me! Let the attackers act dumb the last minute (if they’re not planting the defuser).
That last one is over looked too often. You’re not playing to kill everyone (although that is a way to win) you’re playing the game mode. Most of us play bomb, and if they’re not defusing, play for time! Don’t rush for the kill, just secure yourself and listen for a defuse
knowing your own as well as knowing your opponent's capabilities or proccesses and how to capitalize on it already puts you ahead in siege, it's chess not checkers

People often forget that if you want to win, then simply don't DIE.
So we got hundreds of counterable relationships
the end is so real ngl everyone of my fills will just sprint at the last dude praying for a kill and sell an easy 3v1
I’ve been playing for a month now so I’m ok at the game 😂 but honestly the people in the game suck I kill one person from the other team and they start insulting me like it’s a game chill or don’t play so if u play just be a little respectful
My teammates: allow me to introduce myself (they messed up a 3-0 lead and a 4v1) i hate it in copper v / iv
Last one is what people need to know the amount of times people just have like 3 seconds left and I win as an attacker cause they peak or I lose as a defender cause my teammate peaks but if I’m lady alive I normally win through time in this situation as long as they aren’t planting the defuser

I’m not good at the game but it’s fr annoying when I think my tm8 has me covered to use my maestro to stop breaches and I just get one tapped from someone going on a stroll through site cuz nobody is on site or they’re blind
Hiding in defensive rounds and waiting to rotate the plant should be an essential skill. I win MANY Defensive rounds by doing this
I wish more players actually play the clock on defense. Instead of stalling when roaming theyd rather peak a disadvantageous gunfight. Instead of letting the clock run out when the enemy team doesnt have defuser they'd rather run into a 1v3 with 5 seconds on the clock.
Time is an Attackers worst enemy, not players. They only have about 2:50 minutes to infiltrate. Even wasting their time for 10 seconds is invaluable.

An overwhelming majority of siege players do not invest enough time to learn the nuances of the game. I’ve played for 5 years across all platforms and its just insane how absent minded people are when playing a game like siege. Like you guys know “bomb” is the ranked game mode right? Not ranked “team deathmatch” the average ranked experience on this game just falls so short if you don’t have friends/squad that play. It has so much potential to be so much fun but the community ruins it. Just doesn’t even entertain the idea of playing the game as it should. Like there are so many obvious things… like.. warden with flashes.. playing time against Tony too clean on the sticks … actually playing to the teams strengths instead of just your own… it’s so frustrating to see time and time again on my favorite game. Please do every body a favor and play unranked or casual! You can just bump music and go for kills there! To end this rant I’ll say it’s just sad to know there are things put in place that teach you EXACTLY HOW TO PLAY EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SITE IN THE GAME AND WHAT ITS CALLED ETC. and people still choose to not do any of it and just ruin the ranked experience. No I’m not copper. I hover between gold and platinum every season and it’s just lol man it’s so sad mixed bag of good players and people that Ubisoft puts in my games just to fuck with me lol

Dont know about the Barbed wire thing, so as an Defender barbed wire could be annoying sometimes, cause even as an attacker you can Hear an defender when they go trough the barbed wire.
I would Recommend you all Proximity, it is just the better barbed wire.
barbed wire serves a different purpose. beepers are better on doors and windows barbed is better on stairs. beepers work on both, but barbed works really well on stairs
@@craig7405 Yeah but i got the Situation lately, where we just won the round, cause the defender walked trough the barbed wire which Was on the stairs, we knew exactly where He was afterwards, so i do not recommend Barbed wire.
Out of experience i can say that people on high elos dont even use barbed wire, cause it is stupid.

But the grenade would be more significant to defenders than the small amount of noise that breaking or walking into wire causes

So log in my steam account and saw i had like 900 + hours on this game and last time i played was in early 2020. I remember how much i love this game. Tried to play it again. But all the maps changed and i lost everything that i know about this game. Really suck. I wish i never stop playing. Can't really play it religiously anymore. So sad.
