    I’ve been using a company called planted technology for seat brackets.

      How do they work? You tell them the seat you using and the car you installing to, they'll make brackets?

    This is perfect! I’m putting modern Challenger seats in my 69 Charger, this was very helpful👍🏻

    Thanks for showing. I knew it was possible. This is what I want for when I get my muscle car, except with a higher custom center console (or whatever I can find). I'm paralyzed from the chest down and need these 2 things to make it easier to drive. The high console helps me when turning left because I need to brace my right elbow on something. Otherwise my upper body drifts right cuz I have no abs.

    I like how you went with somewhat of an original looking pattern as well. Those seats look very nice.

      Maybe in the future, I have to get my rear end situated and maybe a reverse manual valve body before I do seats

      Thanks, man. Yeah, I've gotten mixed reviews. I wish I still had my original OEM seats. Can't beat heated power seats! 🤣

    Did you have any issues with the passenger not clearing the armrest? I have 13 inch and it looks like I will have to switch to 9 inch but I wanted to see if you had any problems.

    • @68Charger
      @68Charger  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I used the existing holes on the armrest side and had to drill new holes closer to the console.

    Looks good! Put on some safety glasses when grinding stuff so you can continue to make videos. Lol

      Thanks, jay. Will do 😂. I normally wear safety glasses.

      One of noises ive heard that i would like to not hear again was the “ping” noise made as the metal shard was flung out of my eye by a sharp steel pick/spear held carefully by the eye doctor. And I had Glasses on my face when I was cutting metal. Covering the eyes! I now do the glasses, welding cap, face shield. And the all important Safety Squint! Welding cap is so I can shake off and not have metal stuck in my hair to later fall down into my eyes. Again.
      Safety squints.
      Safety glasses
      Face shield,
      Welding cap, and you 60% safer…. 😂😂😂

    I put heated power scatpack seats in my 70, was just going to let you know not to hook up the heat, the heat on these seats use a computer to modulate the heat, if you hook them up to strait power they will get so hot they will burn through your seat

    • @68Charger
      @68Charger  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the heads up. I bought heated seat switches and read I could use the oem heating pads. I will have to see if I need the full kit.

      @@68Charger let me know how it works out man, I can’t wire up my drivers seat to power cuz it has the memory option and it sucks!!!

    • @68Charger
      @68Charger  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jbsgarage6880 I saw plenty of cloth seats at the junkyards I went to. You could just get a drivers side one and switch out the foam/scat covers onto the new seat frame. They were in the 40-45 dollars range at over here.

      @@68Charger probably to much to ask but any chance you can help another charger brother out? I want to do the same to my 69 charger with updated seats however I cannot find any seats over here in CA. Have you seen any more for sale over there?

    • @68Charger
      @68Charger  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GOKU_32 Hey man. Sorry, all the seats I saw were taken out of the car and thrown on the side for the elements to destroy. I just happened to look on a day that a new Challenger was added. I took the day off work and jumped on them.
