I think that maybe it is true that kpop idol were in dating. Like Shindong and Leeteuk Super Junior said, in ISAC, in the place they have sat, they're already knew everything. Not only in ISAC, but in backstage too. Sometimes, there is agency which didn't prohibit their idol to dating, but they have to appear as an SINGLE. Some of them did backstreet, but you can see it that they're dating

Short version, do your own research if you want to.
Burning Sun: possibly one of the biggest scandals in recent times to hit the kpop scene. Seungri of BigBang (along with other prolific Korean celebs) was involved in it. There's way too much information to give a comprehensive breakdown that won't result in like a ten page essay, but the basics of it boil down to leaked Kakao chat talks that involved sharing of unconsensually filmed sex videos of women. The scandal eventually evolved to include prostitution, sexual assault allegations, gambling, embezzlement, instigations of violence, among other things. Seungri was eventually convicted and sentenced to 3 years in prison, but he and his legal team made an appeal and his sentence was reduced to 18 months (which is bullshit if you ask me given the charges against him but whatever).
B.I drug scandal: B.I of iKon was investigated for drug use by the police and left iKon as a result. Important to note that he tested negative for drug use by the police (but unfortunately this happened several months after his departure from the group and YG as a whole).

We just need to be aware that celebrities' lives are basically just like normal people's life:
Half of the people just have a regular chill dramaless life.

ashley choi is member of ladies code, who debuted around 2013, so it takes maybe 5-6 years before debut or around 2007 when she was trainee, and funny story jay park and one of wonder girls member sudden departure that year and made biggest kpop mystery until now 👀
Let's be honest here . The kpop industry and the whole Korean entertainment industry is so big . There are a LOTS of idols , actors in the industry and every year there's more and more people debuting . With that many people , it's obvious that not everyone has that innocent idol behaviour in real life too . And about dating thing , I think most of the kpop idols are dating irl . We just have no clue about their private life
