Hi Liza you can also use boiled chicken or duck egg or "Penoy" our local boiled egg sell by Filipino vendor at the street at night we call it as "Tokneneng" instead of quail egg. You can also try our local "Balut" same procedure with "Kwekwek". I'm not sure 🤔if you have in Russia "Penoy" or "Balut" 🙋👍❤️🇵🇭🇷🇺
actually kwek-kwek originally came from the word Quick, because of quick cooking and quick to eat, because Filipino is very funny when it comes of naming the food and it is funny to hear the name, instead of quick , we called it Kwek and we repeated the word kwek that is why we call it kwek-kwek, instead of quick-quick
yes sis liza pls be careful with the barbecue stick, other ways is just put t in a bowl and they (children)can enjoy it with their hands, adults can use the longer stick or just a toothpick and individually dip it on their fave sauce.. good job!

Just to share with you that there was a small child from our neighborhood back then that was eating some food on a stick that very sadly passed away. She was walking/running and accidentally tripped over and pierced her throat with the stick. I'm sorry for giving unsolicited advice, I'm just immensely concerned. Thank you and God bless.🙏
You can also make sauce using vinegar, chopped garlic and combine it with thin sliced cucumber. This is common here in the Philippines. We also combined it with cook seaweed called Guso
