  • There is more to this puzzle and the answer is very nuanced. There are many factors that come to play, including your current health status, but this is a piece you will want to consider talking to your health care provider about. I posted information on this topic in my community tab. Please refer to that for more information and links to scientific research and information by licensed professionals.

Did you purchase the tests or can you get them from your Dr.?

It’s actually very unnatural to eat first thing in the morning. I’m not sure when that became a thing(maybe when humans started farming, so they would have energy for the grueling day ahead), but it’s certainly not natural. I can go until 12-1 pm before I feel hungry, and I’m fairly certain my cortisol levels aren’t high. Well, relative to most modern humans. The only person in my family who does eat breakfast regularly is the one who seems to have the most stress.

@@katieandnick4113 Breakfast is always a good idea. While there is some data to support that you may not need to eat breakfast, eating even a little something in the morning can help with energy levels, blood sugar control, cognitive function, and overall mood. Additionally, morning eaters may have lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and a reduced chance of heart attack or stroke compared to those who skip breakfast. So, if you wake up hungry, consider having a nutritious breakfast to kickstart your day! I personally am dealing with what I spoke about, so I’m trying to eat at least two hours after I wake up. We will see if that helps and I will share. I do think the key here is bio-individuality. We can’t say one thing is good for everyone. That goes against everything I believe. I enjoyed your comment. Thank you for stopping in.

@@reneechaplin8686 every case is different. But the key is insulin stability. Not eating can have reverse effects and cause more issues. Thank you for your comment.

@@reneechaplin8686 please see my community tab. This isn’t for just children, and the current health status of someone is very important to consider when fasting. It should also always be done under the supervision of a medical care provider.

No one needs to eat in the morning, you should be fasting for at least 16 hours each 24 hour period. What you’re saying is misleading propaganda regarding a “healthy breakfast” to start your day, which is the worst thing you can do for your body!😮

@@reneechaplin8686 not always. Science is actually showing different. I’ll be happy to provide links in my community tab. Fasting IS beneficial for some, but can be dangerous for some (like myself.) Bio-individualism is key. Thank you for your comment.
