His manager used to have to drag him away from signing autographs as he was about to perform lol. He never ignored anyone who said hello to him. This song is an AC/Dc Classic, sung by one of the worlds greatest singers. This bloke is capable of singing anything. During warm-ups he often sings Operatic Tenor Aria's such as Nessum Dorma, Vesti La Giubba & many others with a great Operatic quality. When Pavarotti was in Australia in the Early 1980's he & John performed Nessum Dorma as a duet on one of Australia's Tonight Shows back then. Pav asked him what Opera's he had performed in, he was shocked when John told him he hadn't as he was a Pop Singer. Pav's answer was My Goodness, why not?
That from a man who did voice lessons for years and exercises to get a 5 minute lung capacity, to a guy that never did a singing lesson in his life. John did the JC role in Jesus Christ superstar. Another opera singer said how does he hit those high notes, without a run-up. Rock singers have to come on stage, note perfect unlike jazz singers etc. A reactor said, usually music is to fill out bad voices, make them sound better, this guy is so good, the music is to compliment his voice. He didn't hurt anyone as far as I know, but he killed a few mike stands. They carried spares.

My uncle played Double Bass in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in the 60s and I didn’t see any musicians smile. This is one of the best visual and auditory experiences I've had, so so good. Wish I had been at the concert. I'm Australian and didn't really follow John much with his music. I always knew he was a really lovely, smart and funny guy but I missed out on his music. Seeing it all over youtube now is just brilliant.
His concerts with the Melbourne symphony orchestra are electrifying performance's one of the great front man of a band of all time up there with queen in the live aid concert absolutely awesome performance of his life I would almost say. Freddie Mercury and John Farnham would be on the top two for sure. Love the reaction,. Take care everyone

I don't know. Always appreciate a reaction to John Farnham. It's great that such an amazing singer and as evident a great bloke gets acknowledged by others and not just us Aussies who've known about how good he is for decades. And also the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, i've seen symphonies with so much energy and power and the crowd' going off like being at a Stones concert back in the day. Music is fantastic whatever the genre and here the MSO just rock!!!!
