Corsola actually fits Jasmine very well. If you talk to a Gentleman in the lighthouse, they mention that Jasmine was originally a Rock-type trainer before the Steel-type was discovered, meaning Corsola could be a remnant of her old team.
Fun fact: The "random grunt" you showed off during the Goldenrod arc with the Magmar, Electabuzz, Jynx, etc, is a recurring Grunt who even has a name! Rocket Grunt Eto, also known as the Hyuckster, was made into a character that appears at every single Team Rocket event, and has a little arc all his own, and you can follow the development of his team, as well. As for Red... well, considering he's supposed to be US from Gen 1, the idea is, the Legends aren't around normally in Gen 2 because _he caught them._ But, since he had his hands full with Mewtwo, he got certain other powerful trainers to look after the birds for him. Blue, Lance, and Blaine. Each of the birds only appears in the wild in Legacy after you've beaten the trainer that holds them.
@@Oshawaves In addition to that, it's not the first time Clair has had a Lapras either. She has one in Pokemon Stadium 2. And she's had a Gyarados on her actual Blackthorn Gym team in HeartGold/SoulSilver.
@@Oshawaves Think of it this way, Lance's Team consists of mainly Flying Pokemon that can be considered draconic, or in simple terms Flying Dragons. Whilst Clair's Team consists of Aquatic Pokemon that can also be considered draconic, or Aquatic Dragons.

I'd always wondered what the "lion dog" pokemon was in the TV show's intro, but I didn't connect the dots (I also didn't know about stone evolutions). One day, an older kid at school asked why my Growlithe hadn't evolved but was Lv.60+. I didn't know.. so he showed me. There he was. The "lion dog" from the intro. And he was a Legendary Pokemon?! This is cool
Please play the rom hack this gym of mine
Polished Crystal is better tbh.
: D
Rare candies are cheating, what's the point of not being able to reuse Pokemon if you can just rare candy the next pokemon to level?
Polished crystal is better
One of the worst
What’s the difficulty level like ?
If you mean the “hard or easy” at the start of the game, hard enforces a level cap, so you physically can’t be a higher level than the next boss battle, you also can’t use items in battle and are forced onto set mode.
If you’re just asking abt overall difficulty, I’d say a 6/10
Harder than the original yellow for sure, but it’s not a difficulty romhack so it can’t be too hard
@@Oshawaves do you know any rom hacks that’s just the same game and the difficulty level hasn’t changed and the game itself has just added new Pokémon and so on ?
@@inkedcanvas2541 I recommend the legacy series, so this and legacy yellow.
“Difficulty” is per person, not so much a broad term. Someone who doesn’t know the type chart will have a lot more struggle than someone who forgets that so and so pokemon learns a certain move.
It is harder than the originals because the gym leaders have proper teams, rather than for example Clair having a few dragonair, but that doesn’t mean it’s super hard, the gym leaders (and other boss fights) have a better selection of Pokémon
@@Oshawaves thanks mate appreciate it , I’m not the best at Pokemon but I also would love to experience new generations without much needed change that’s gonna cause me to struggle
