My favourite knife I own I was shocked at the washers and happily surprised how good it looks ( internals ) do want to put custom handle scales on it though
I've had this knife for about ten years now, about five of those it just sat somewhere in a box. Couple of months ago I found it, it had some rust, I took it apart thinking I'd restore it and sell it. Only yesterday did I finally get around to actually clean all the rust off, put a new edge on it, loctited everything. And wow, this neat lil feller just blew my mind how the design, ergos and sliciness still hold up strong even ten years into being into knives! Needless to say, I changed my mind on selling it as soon as sliced my first sandwich with it in five years :D
Funny how such similar knives can still be so different. It’s almost like somebody got to see one, and was then left to make a copy from memory. The lack of chamfer is one of the several things I don’t like about my UKPK. One day, maybe, I’ll carry it!
I like the Tern and gave a few away as gifts when they first came out and cost less than £30. I find it take minimal effort to keep 8cr13 sharp with a regular strop. It is a shame they discontinued the wings slipit, it looks and feels better with the steel bolsters.
Finally pulled the trigger on a Tern after umming and ahhing for ages. I'm pleased to see it's the same size as the Urban. And can't wait to get my hands on it! 😎
Was looking at this and nearly pulled the trigger until I realised that it has no liners. I have now decided against purchasing it, if I do want to spend £40 on a folder I reckon I'll just buy another Manly Wasp in 14C28N, already have one in S90V and it's great, plus it's made in Europe.

New age Vape it’s a reference piece, as it’s my only Spyderco, so no, probably not. They’re still readily available I think.
@@slick_slicers they are out of stock until june hopefully I will be able to pick one up then
paused this to go and edc my tern today, had forgotten just what a great little knife this is! Cheers :)

I’ve had mine a few years and it’s still in my edc rotation ,I would compare it to the urban which is another fantastic knife

You being surprised and triggered have sold that knife even more especially as Spyderco can be expensive.
