About This Game (from steam)
Welcome to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2, the most ridiculous and insane battle simulator in existence! Create eye watering battles with hundreds of thousands, and even millions of characters on screen! Sandbox mode will return, with infinite army sizes and far greater flexibility than ever. Command your armies in RTS mode with full drag select army control, or get the job done yourself and play as any one of the units in 3rd or 1st person. Keep in mind, our physics engine is in very early development so we can't make any guarantees.

Kroot weapons are simply called Kroot Rifles. They're basically hunting rifles with blades attached in a Bat'leth style.
More than that, they hit as hard as a Bolter due to Tau pulse rounds in them, so the game seems to massively undersell them.
Wow some times Games Workshop really takes the cake... with all the Tu'va's and 'Viro'las Type names in the lore of Tau; they just called these "Kroot Rifles" .... Classic GWS xD
Well in 5th edition all Space Wolf stuff had "wolf" added and all Grey Knight stuff was "doom". It was the era of Matt Ward (f him, he said qll marines wanted to be ultra marines, half the chapters would disagree qnd the Grey Knights, Exorcist, etc have investigated the Ultras for treason in the past lol) and Phil Kelly (who could write rules) though.

"Their last stand, I don't think they'd have it any other way" Noooot really. The Tau regard last stands as the last gasp of an unimaginative commander. There's a full page in their original codex on why they regard such things as wasteful, pointless drama. xD
Yeah, they don't hold ground if it means they lose a army. They don't even use bunkers, as they see them as something to hide civilians in, but not functional in a war were you have to move around.
To be fair there's no negotiating with tyranids
@@FaustLimbusCompany Their tactics for nids is more to use mobile hunting warfare. Don't engage in attrition. Surgical strike the synapse units, let them spread out without a strongpoint to focus on, evacuate and strike, air-strike behind the front. All sorts.
Of course the game can't simulate that, so more just an amusing lore point!
Wow, around 17,000 fire warriors left, I thought the Tau were going to be toast. I guess I didn't consider that the ~30,000 deaths prior were the Kroot melee grunts there to just buy the Tau time.
Another great video, I could watch Tyranids getting mowed down all day 😁. Hope to see more!

What an epic video, it’s rare to see an army decimate the Tyranids for once. They’re usually on the other end of things! So much respect for the Tau warriors in this one, I thought they’d get overrun at the edges but they had the high ground!
So many strategic blunders the hive mind would not have made.
This is almost like "Tyranids without a hivemind."

1:00 kroot wouldn’t be hungry for Tyranids because Tyranids flesh is not digestible to Kroot and is considered tainted and useless. Unless changed, that’s current canon.

you should do a wave battle. who ever wins in wave 1 the survivors will fight wave 2 of the the opponents team and hopefully the next wave can catch up. each wave is stronger then the next. you would have to manually put them to attack mode each move and be a little more proactive
example
wave 1
5,000 conscripts vs 5000 cultists
cultists wins with few survivors
survivors will proceed to fight wave 2 first unless wave 2 on there team arrives in time to save then but
wave two
100 black templar knights vs 100 krones axe troops
knights won kill both survivors and krones troops so they will proceed on.
do like 3-5 waves each team. remember to manual activate the second wave on both sides right when the first wave is done fighting and space them out
Surprised the Kroot weren't told to shoot. Kroot Rifles are as powerful as boltguns with their Tau Pulse Rounds after all.
They did have ones who were shooting - they were in small numbers and died near the very start lol. Though they do kick butt so I cant put too many of them down xD

Tbf I only put them down 10,000 Warriors because the deflection effect from their armour can over power ranged units - think I should of Given them more? or where the Tau just effecient at taking them out ? :O
Those Kroot tho' :) Would be interesting to see them up against Orks.
Please allow it to play out fully. Even if you speed it up to the last few before playing it out. You cant understand how much I need closure. I would love to own this game with your mods. That whole time I was glued to the screen thinking they cant pull this off and to see them come so close but not get the final victory standing over the hoard was no good. That said, Thank you for making the video though. I really like your channel. This is the best channel for this content.
I wish you'd do a before and after comparison screen shot of the landscape at the end of these videos, just to see how high those body piles are
