The Gringa is spot on - genius at work ! Miyako has composed & arranged approximately half of Lovebites' current catalogue of about 60 original songs. She mentioned in her soc media that this demo she had created here was only meant for the purposes of this series of 3 videos and it was not designed for Lovebites. She even joked that it was hardly good enough for TH-cam. She is so humble. You should do Parts 2 & 3, it's really awesome to see her entire process. Merry X'mas guys !

Miyako is a genius multipurpose musician. In their recent world tour , when they played in the small venues, Miyako was the actual sound engineer too. Yes, part 2 and 3. Yes, I agree, she already had an overall idea of the song before she started working on the demo. Merry Christmas to both of you.
Merry Christmas, everyone! Yes, I would like to continue with parts 2 and 3 in this crash course in Miyakology. Just a hunch, but I bet she had the basics of the melody from humming while going about her day and thought it was worth exploring as a demo.
And I thought operating the cable box was complicated .. When I was lucky enough to see Lovebites sound check close up in London this year , the 2 things that stuck with me was the concentration on Haruna's face and how Miyako would not except anything less than perfect . After about 40 mins of sound checks Miyako stayed on stage and double checked every thing , she was not 100% happy so she recalled the other members back on for another 30 min sound check . True professional ... would be great to see part 2 and 3 again :) . Merry Xmas to you both and everyone .
If you see how methodical Miyako approaches songwriting you can imagine how structured and tidy her apartment is. I´m sure she would find each & every item blindfolded
Learned a lot from this. I have a friend who mixes and produces and follows a very similar process. Miyako is awesome and humble at the same time. Interestingly SSS was rejected at 1st submission. Was going to be on an EP but was then reworked into what is many's favourite Lovebites composition. Hope everyone has had a great Christmas. And parts 2 and 3 are great too. 🎄Merry Christmas everyone!🎄🎅 When you consider what has already been done in the Lovebites catalog, It must be very difficult to make something new that is still up to the fan's standards. After reading some of their Interviews, I realized how much time and effort they put into their music, It's more of a collaboration and there are a lot of changes to songs after a song is written. It doesn't matter who writes the song, Miyako and Midori still have full control on guitar solos and how they turn out.
The incredible lightness of being Miayko - a woman for all seasons. So good to have her and the other band members in our lives - they are a fountain of inspiration, role models in many ways. And I trust that 2025 will be another great year for our ladies; sure thing that they can count on me.

I watched the entire process of creating the song some time ago. In the end, I thought it was a shame that the song would never be recorded by Lovebites, as I would have loved to know what words, what lyrics Asami would have used here - the song's melody is so fantastically captivating - what a shame! But the fact that Miyako just published this process is just fantastic, unbelievable, just the golden touch that only Miyako can give to music!

I love Miyako’s bass, a Warwick Streamer Masterbuilt LX in Burgundy red, but I can’t justify buying one for myself as a guitarist, I use the bass only for writing songs just as Miyako does, but she is clearly not bothered by the $8000 Dollar price tag! 😂🤘

You’re reacting to parts 2 and 3. No discussion! This was a really fun episode. Miyako is so unfair to the rest of the human race. She has musical knowledge in abundance. She has the ability to turn that knowledge into ear grabbing musical pieces, the ability to express herself on strings or keys of any kind. She is possibly the most chilled metalhead I’ve ever seen. That calmness is what people confuse with coldness. Nothing of the sort. And to top it off she was blessed with supermodel looks without the supermodel ego. I have to pinch myself when I remember how she saw me in Osaka because of my LOVEBITES shirt, approached me, catching me by surprise, and chatting with no time constraints. Since then she has always been very friendly. Miyako. Friendly. With lil ol me! I have wounds from all the pinching. She is a gift to all of us. Now you know why they chose her nickname as “The Golden Touch”. Miyako contributed over 20 songs to their album "Judgment Day," which was released last year, but only three were ultimately selected for inclusion. This might explain why there is no filler in their songs.

Yes, great video guys. About the video, I was amazed by Miyako's intention and attitude. 1- She always wanted to produce songs. 2- Always had an idea to create a good one. Maybe from piano master education. 3- Patient and dedication to finish it. 4- She did it quite fast (maybe 1 song per day). That how 'The Golden Touch' at work. 🤘👍❤️

Usually, Miyako gives the finished demos for new songs to the other members of LOVEBITES and each of the ladies (Midori, Haruna, Miho or Fami) makes arrangements for her musical instrument. Miho did the same. Usually, Miho composed the lyrics and the main musical theme, then together with Mao she perfected it and gave the finished demo to the other members of the band. Each of the ladies made arrangements for her musical instrument. If the music came before the lyrics, then Asami composes the lyrics based on demo. Asami cannot play the guitar. Therefore, Asami uses the piano to compose her music.

She has the ability to turn that knowledge into ear grabbing musical pieces, the ability to express herself on strings or keys of any kind. She is possibly the most chilled metalhead I’ve ever seen. That calmness is what people confuse with coldness. Nothing of the sort.
And to top it off she was blessed with supermodel looks without the supermodel ego. I have to pinch myself when I remember how she saw me in Osaka because of my LOVEBITES shirt, approached me, catching me by surprise, and chatting with no time constraints. Since then she has always been very friendly. Miyako. Friendly. With lil ol me!
I have wounds from all the pinching. She is a gift to all of us. Now you know why they chose her nickname as “The Golden Touch”.

Miyako contributed over 20 songs to their album "Judgment Day," which was released last year, but only three were ultimately selected for inclusion.
This might explain why there is no filler in their songs.

Yes, great video guys. About the video, I was amazed by Miyako's intention and attitude.
1- She always wanted to produce songs. 2- Always had an idea to create a good one. Maybe from piano master education. 3- Patient and dedication to finish it. 4- She did it quite fast (maybe 1 song per day). That how 'The Golden Touch' at work. 🤘👍❤️

Thank you sooooooomuch for sharing your LOVEBITES journey with us over the past few months (I guess it's that long now).
I would say how much I love watching these Miyako demo videos but I don't have words. It's just an amazing thing to see the creative process of a genius at work. Of couse she makes it seem so effortless, as if anyone could do it, which of course they can't.
I know you will have to do parts 2 and 3 now anyway...gotta see what happens next!!!

Usually, Miyako gives the finished demos for new songs to the other members of LOVEBITES and each of the ladies (Midori, Haruna, Miho or Fami) makes arrangements for her musical instrument.
Miho did the same. Usually, Miho composed the lyrics and the main musical theme, then together with Mao she perfected it and gave the finished demo to the other members of the band. Each of the ladies made arrangements for her musical instrument. If the music came before the lyrics, then Asami composes the lyrics based on demo.
Asami cannot play the guitar. Therefore, Asami uses the piano to compose her music.
