I am surprised no one is bringing up pathetic planning and dumping of new greenfield airport for Pune. City with auto, education and IT hub is renting a small airport from air force and do not have a good airport in plan is shameful.
Blame environmental activism. That's where the process is stuck. AAI proposes a new airport and immediately there's a litigation trying to scuttle the project. BTW EIA for the airport is stuck in NGT.
