I own one, I like the way it likes to be pushed around in the canyons, that makes the ride very proactive and engaging. Enough power and the suspension can be dialed in to your weight. The braking system is no issue with ABS.
Your mic setup is one of the better ones for any pov fat bob 2022 review. Great job man and would love to see more video like these on other Harleys like the 883 and the likes.
I was wondering if you have any suggestions to wear I can buy a second hand fatbob online to ship to the Pacific, where I live. Enjoyed your review and would love to buy and own my first Harley bike
I ride a 2018 FXFBS ... and, I'm 5'2". It's a little bit of a stretch for the forwards, and I am on the balls of my feet. Otherwise, LOVE the ride after coming off an 883.
Nice review, but I just have to comment for any potential buyers; there is NO V- twin rumble or sound. I just bought a 2021 114 Harley and am massively disappointed with the lack of sound. Ask anyone with the M8 engine and they will confirm.
I have wanted that FB since I first saw it. Started on an iron 883 and went to trade in on the FB! I didn’t get one? I got the Low Rider S instead. I couldn’t help it. I love the FB, but the LRS just stole the show that day!
I have had 3 Harley Davidson bikes in my day. An 88, 96 and my current 2017 M8 street glide special. I don’t believe in motor work, I believe in religious oil changes. Gear cam kits were installed on the 88& 96 bikes, just a stage one on the M8 ok. All three have had minor wear and tear work but here in 2022 going on 2023 it’s time out for overly hot air cooled motorcycles with pushrods, lifters, huge primary chain, clicking gear changes and three hole oil filling and draining. It’s time for full counter balancing, smoothness, technology and most of all FULL LIQUID COOLING PERIOD. HD has done a good job modifying 1950’s/ 1960’s technology but the game is up. The competition has leaped forward.
You say aftermarket is king in that in order for you to like the bike you must first spend even more money and time and energy to make it appealing to you, what happened to the days when harley built a bike that, at first sight you would say, I love it and I wouldn't change a thing...they just don't look, or sound like harley anymore..guess I'm too old school
Spot on. Used to own Harley's but never again. A ridiculous concept that you have to spend above what is already an expensive bike to make it sound half decent. The reason it doesn't sound half decent as stock is because the engine is a lump of junk by modern standards.
@@huntychunks I like the M8 engine. It's just a shame that you have to dump so much money to get the bike to perform the way it should (tuner for performance/eliminate governor, header for heat and more flow, muffler, heavy breather, cam most likely, etc.). I used to waste so much money when trading in a Harley EVO and M8 bike. I would put all the money in the bike to perform and getting a new bike I'd have to repeat the performance upgrade process all over again. I have a '22 Pan America now and have only needed to change the pipe out (mostly for sound) because the bike just GOs as is!

The only Harley I have wanted. And I want it badly. I wish it was only 20,000 dollars in Thailand. First-class review.
Thank you !!

Just bought mine, 2021, and instantly upgraded the exhaust to Vance & Hines. It’s a must
That's a FACT lol!! Stock sounds embarrassingly lame.
You in Wi ? Signing the papers tomorrow. Love the look of this bike. This will be my 2nd FB.
I put Vance & Hines Cobra on my 2023
This is a really nice bike not sure about the exhausts and here in the UK it's around 19k ridiculously over expensive

The Sportster S is a completely different platform,

I 100x agree with you, but the bike ready to go, why do I need to spend more $ ???
