Go find Daniel Coleman in hiddenite NC.
He does digs every weekend with HUGE SUCCESS!
I’ve spoke with Daniel a few times, was gonna go to one of his digs on Easter but weather and timing didn’t add up. Maybe when I’m back down that way I will meet up with him.

I need to check out more construction sites, we moved to upstate South Carolina to be in a good rockhounding area, but it is a whole lot harder to find public spots to dig than what we thought it would be... it awesome to grab a piece though before it goes away

I love the Neuse (pronounced noose). There's so many cool spots. The dam is def one of the best. That wasnt a firepit, its a big azz picnic table. If you keep following the trail past that you can put in up stream and ride the rapids on a tube. We've had DJ campouts on that beach you were at.

Asked not to share? Then why make a video? That doesnt make sense. You showed and named river in relation to river. I'm telling you now. 20 to 30 mins on google earth and its x Mark's spot
