TMT could do almost anything & do it perfectly ! I so remember seeing this ! RIP, Tim Hauser, the founder of TMT. RIP, Eldorado Caddy . -------------MJ< 76 y/o
this video which was taped in 1975 should prove how much John Travolta modeled his Danny Zuko after Alan Paul's stage act/persona. Alan was also a cast in Grease, the original Broadway production, as Johnny Casino and Teen Angel..
Better than the original by the Cuff Links which is great. Choreography is superb. Have watched this video countless times and hopefully will numerous more times till I die. Hopefully for 10+ years considering I'm 80. Peter
Just love it! This takes me way back to great times when life was more fun, like the Central Plaza on 42nd Street, where you could get a pitcher of beer at seventeen.
Went to one of their shows in the 80's. Outdoor at a castle in Sweden. Came there late and ended up at the back of the great big lawn. Did'nt se shit and hardly heard a thing😠But i'm sure they were great 😏

Did they ever record this song in a studio??
Seems like they only performed this song on the manhattan transfer tv show at cbs (summer 1975)
It was on the first album to bear the Manhattan Transfer name - Jukin’ - but not with the same personnel as this recording.
