I made this tonight and it was DEVINE!! I put it in a circle cuz transferring it to a pan was messy and that's just what happened when I moved it. It's a wreath looking thing and pretty. IT'S SO GOOD. Pillowy dough and yummy pesto!! Used my fav pesto from TJ's! THANK YOU!!!!

I made this bread today, and wow! Fantastic recipe! It was very sticky when I was kneading it so I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it came out perfect! Tastes delicious 😋
Great! Yes, I do like a dough that is a little bit on the soft side so it bakes up well. If it is too sticky, you can always use a little more flour when working with it. Glad it came out well for you!

Made this a couple weeks ago. Loved it! I had some left overs since I made a double batch so froze it. Tonight I used it to make pesto garlic toast. It was so good!
Wow! This gave me an idea: I like making a garlic-pickle-paste out of pickled jalapenos, garlic, salt and vinegar. I think, I'll mix that with a bit of coconut milk and spread that on this bread. Thanks for the inspiration!
I've been Binge watching your videos for the last hour. Can't wait to try them all! But to start some of them😆 specifically the seitan bbq chicken wrap😋
This looks like it would be an absolute blast to make. Do you think beyond/impossible and vegan cheese shreds would work in this? I'm thinking probably not with the braid.
Well, you probably could stuff anything into bread dough and it would be great, but this roll and cut method works best for things like pastes and sauces.
@@BoldFlavorVegan Making bread is about the easiest thing you can do. I used my stand mixer here, but I do actually enjoy kneading by hand. It is somehow relaxing and meditative for me.
@@ThePotThickens I just need to get comfortable with it. I make seitan all the time, which a lot of times is way more complicated. This might just push me over the edge.

You certainly could. Olive oil also can be used.
Can I put it in a loaf pan will cooking time change?
You could. The sides may make it need a few more minutes. Just check it.

Hard to do. Sorry. That’s the nature of basil. But more acid or lemon juice may help.
