Yes we only see a tiny percentage of what people want us to see but even then, it doesn’t take a scientist to notice that Alex is sort of off on this video. Honestly, I'm going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but it's simply an opinion. I've been surrounded by a lot of variety of relationships, so I'd like to think that at 25-years-old and in a very healthy relationship, I have a bit of insight on when relationships are just...off. I really, really feel that firmly with their relationship. Especially after the video of them answering questions. Sierra was always on guard and constantly correcting Alex. You could tell he was getting frustrated and I assume it's because it's something he experiences often with her. He was simply voicing his opinion and she constantly said, 'No, you're wrong. That's not true. No.' You don't get to tell someone how they can and can't feel, and honestly, how she was reacting was confirming EVERYTHING Alex was saying. We all have confidence issues, but Sierra's are actually unhealthy and detrimental to a healthy relationship. Even as her boyfriend, it's not his responsibility to make sure she's always feeling confident. It's her responsibility to handle that, because that's just too much to put on your partner. I think Alex has been really down for a while because he's starting to feel the negative impacts of the relationship. Honestly, scream at me all you want, but their personalities just don't...mesh. Every time they interact, I feel like it's trying to fit two opposite pieces together. I see him with someone much less 'LA' and more into outdoors activity, and less into shopping, decorating, events, etc. But I worry that now that they live together and he's used to this kind of lifestyle that he won't be able to get out. I'm NOT saying Sierra is a bad person. I'm just saying it's become really clear that they aren't a good match. They got engaged and now they're waiting to be 'better', but take it from someone who's in an effortless and loving relationship-it's NOT supposed to be this hard right now. Years down the road when you actually face problems, maybe. But right now, the fact that it's this difficult, uncomfortable, and forced is a red flag they should be listening to.
This is so true, I feel so bad for them. When sierras down, Alex is happy and when Alex is down Sierra is happy (video wise) but we have no idea what happens behind closed doors. Who knows, maybe they’re happier IRL, and in front of the camera they become shy and distant.
