The South Africa show is called Love Never Lies. There's a Spain and a Poland version. You guys are in for a treat because, at least the previous versions are MESSYYY in all caps😂 Also, Florencia and Jose Luis are so weird to me. It just doesn't seem genuine to me, and I honestly kinda dislike both of them😂
@guemagestudio I KNOW😂😂 Every version is so MESSYYY and so much fun. I can't even wait for the South African version. I'm shaking in my flip flopssss😂
The lie detector show sounds different over Netflix's usual stuff. I would check that one out. I love when lies get exposed especially within relationships. 👍
Love it that you love us South Africans! Not many give us a second look, but we are such an open society and so diverse we are actually very interesting
Juli is perfect for Ezequiel. You can tell with that house of his he gets lots of women desperate to be with him. Her not being impressed is driving him insane and it’s perfect. There’s a reason he’s been running through women for 10years.
Fun fact: I saw that you guys thought Emily's tattoo of Ralph from The Simpsons was cute in one of your reactions. Well, here in Argentina, The Simpsons are kind of a big deal. The show’s been on TV for decades, so pretty much everyone grew up watching it, especially the older seasons that people are still obsessed with. Quoting lines from the show is super common, and literally everyone gets the references without even thinking twice. You’ll see memes from the show everywhere, and they're used to joke about everything. Not liking The Simpsons here is actually rare, and it can be a little weird. Even if someone says they've never seen it or don’t like it that’s almost a red flag. It’s not just a cartoon; it’s part of how people connect and joke around here.
Aguantaaaa jajajaja hay mucha gente a la que no le gustan los simpsons, o que conoce las referencias sólo por los memes y nunca los vio. Son populares pero que digas que es una RED FLAG no conocerlos ya es un montón, red flag es otra cosa
My parents met, began dating, and got married all within about a year. No shotgun element at all, and they're both argentinian born and raised! I think there also may have been less of an element in that day and age. Argentina was coming out of the military dictatorship and maybe some people were just feeling the "no time like the present" thing! I think it was much less common to date a lot or live with partners you weren't married to. My parents did live together for like 6 months before they married, but they're also not Catholic like a majority of people were/are, so I think it was just much more common to meet and get married in a short amount of time!
Also, I loved your reaction to Blanca, because I feel like she's just such a good representation of that generation of Argentinians! I think others like maybe my parents try to be a little more polite to someone's face, but Argentinians as a whole are very blunt and honest. I think my favourite phrase was when Florencia asked Blanca if she loved her and Blanca was like "love you? I just met you" I've seen it happen with my sister and her partners! My sister will present someone to my parents and my parents will be kind and like them but, as the child, you're like "do you love them?" and Argentinian parents will be like "absolutely not I can't love them I barely know them" And I think that summarizes the Argentinian attitude. Definitely not a translation issue, just a cultural thing ahahaha we don't tend to sugarcoat
With Juli and Eze, Eze is used to being the disinterested party and now Juli's distance has become an issue for it. Juli seems really rational and practical, so to her, it's a "if it feels right and we line up, we'll get married, and if not, we'll break up and/or continue dating. No biggie" and Eze instead needs the reassurance and feels rejected when she says those things. He needs her to be more "showy" about her affection and she struggles with this, but they talk and she's working on it! I think between them it just comes down to how much showiness he needs and how much she'll be able to give. It'll definitely be a thing of seeing if they can find a middle ground that satisfies them both!
Also, for futbol, I think it's funny because we all have our teams no matter how good or bad they are. Like, my mom's side is Boca and my dad's side is Chacarita (they don't do well like ever) and that's always the butt of the joke, but nobody ever switches no matter what happens. It's almost like you're disowning your family if you switch teams ahahaha
I got married at 40. Before then I’d never lived with a man. I was 38 when I moved to the US. Dated a nan and when he suggested moving in together I started thinking how I would explain it to my family. 38, guys. On a whole different continent. So, yeah, Jose never having lived with a woman could very well be a cultural thing. In my culture, marriage comes before anything else - children, moving in.
I hear you. I think what we were up in arms about for a moment was his mom saying hed never had a girlfriend. But then it became clear it was just he’d never brought someone home
😂😂😂you guys are so cute. I thought that being Arg it would be more explosive but it's been very normal and I've enjoyed it. I use reciprocity too!!!😂😂😂😂
Exactly, that´s my feeling too. She seems to be overly jealous and it gives me the impression, as if she used José Luis as a partner surrogate and does not want him to have a wife.
Mauricio makes jabs at Maria Emilia and cuts her down. She deserves better.

OHHHH I LOVE LOVE NEVER LIES!!!! It's so messy and I love watching couples fall apart bc one of them or maybe both are ASSHOLESSS🤣🤣🤣🤣

french netflix has teased Love is Blind France. No date yet, but i can't wait!!!
We thought it would never happen!
@@membriash right? Like we have a french version of The Ultimatum, but no L'Amour est aveugle? unbelievable 😄
Wow, can't wait! I am also looking forward to LIB Germany. I am from Poland and work with Germans, they seem culturally familiar to me.
Love it that you love us South Africans! Not many give us a second look, but we are such an open society and so diverse we are actually very interesting
Argentina is so good! Loving the reactions ❤
I was about to do a task I’ve been putting off and looking for something to listen to while I work and this was perfect timing
dude SAME 🙌
I Lol'd at " is he a serial killer " On these types of shows it is very possible. How's his ears?😋
Enjoying this Argentina season so far and your reactions!
"Level of reciprocity -- fancy!" 😂
Also, the South African show sounds interesting!
"A ball of energy and light" ❤❤❤

This season started slow but now im kind of living it a lot.
You guys are great with your recaps. Thanks!

The new season of the program you mention about South Africa was first done in Spain and there is also a version from Poland. It’s wild😂

We need you guys to sing the theme song please haha
Tempting
my name is also Blanka but with a 'k' haha. it was funny hearing my name on LIB Argentina.
No spoilers but i have watched to the end, but I have to say this was my favorite season of LIB
Hard disagree that josé Luis’s mom sounds sweet. I get very weird vibes from her. She seems like she’s overly dependent on her son.
