    I’ve just begun a blanket for my son and his wife for their new home. It has blues and browns and every other row will change color. It’s looks like a sandy beach and the ocean. 🥰

    Oh wow, this is impressive. I like it, I like it a lot... I can even do it!!!!! I can see next time I go to craft group my friends will be really interested in what I am doing. Just goes to prove that you can teach an old dog new tricks and that there is plenty of life left in this old girl yet!!! Thank you Toni for challenging me and keeping me motivated.

    I am in the midst of the Holiday Blanket. I really wish that you would show the back of the work especially the long strings and the cc edge. Any of the samples that change color or skip stitches in the front would have this problem. It seems they could potentially get caught when using the blanket if I don't lay these stitches just right. Maybe a tutorial video?

      If you're doing her crochet along one of the squares is round to square. I don't know if she's done the tutorial for it yet. I believe if you do a TH-cam search she may have done a tutorial on Tunisian in the round. I remember watching one a long time ago but don't remember who did the tutorial but I think it was Toni

    Oh Toni! This is wonderful; I just love it!! You have been doing so many tutorials for Tunisian. Thank you so much! Do you know of any tunisian stitches that create a bumpy type texture? I'm wanting to make blankets for beds that are thick, squishy texture, and doing them in tunisian would be a nice change. Thank you for these tutorials!

    When doing this in 3 colors like it shows in the beginning, do I padd it in and treat it just like the second color added? Will the edge look bad because of carrying the threads up?

    I love this! I have not tried tunisian yet but I want to try. If you wanted to make this into a full blanket how big or a cord should you use? Or do you do panels with tunisian?

    • @TLYarnCrafts
      @TLYarnCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely give it a try! It's easier than it looks. For a blanket I'd go for a cord that's at least 40" (but you could get away with 35 or highter).

    I am just beginning my Tunisian journey, having been a knitter for many years. I look at this and imagine a cowl! Having made it long enough is there a way to join it in the round? Or Tunisian be done in the round? Sorry if the questions are dumb.

    Another question, just to confirm I am getting this. Is there a small float behind the two slipped stitches?

  • @trixieknits
    @trixieknits 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I’ve done this three times with 130 stitches plus 2 and I keep ending with the wrong number of stitches. Can you explain the math to me? Is it any number of stitches for a blanket then add 2. I don’t understand.

    • @trixieknits
      @trixieknits 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do understand that it’s multiples of 10, but why does 120 stitches plus 2 work and 130 stitches plus 2 does not.

    • @michaelbhs05yb
      @michaelbhs05yb หลายเดือนก่อน

      130+2 works. Take row 2 of the written instruction. The multiples of 10 correspond to each wave; in other words, each wave is 10 stitches wide. So in your example, there will be 13 waves when doing row 2. The remaining two stitches are the very first stitch and the Lts. 130+2
